Requires app and account for setup. It’s a pain to connect to WiFi which makes setup a hassle as well as anytime the power goes out you start that process again. Once you manage to get it connected you get a bare amount of sound options but the rest are a subscription. This much for a sound machine should not be subscription. Volume is good level and can easily control. That is honestly the only good. At the end it would not stay connected to WiFi no matter what so it was returned. Go with something other than hatch products. The smaller one is complete garbage and literally no sound output!

Purchased Dec 4, 2024. It stopped working on March 30, 2025. Lasted what? 4 months? Too late to return my $150 alarm clock. What a complete waste of money!!!!

THIS PRODUCT IS AWFUL. Honestly shocked that anyone thinks this is a good product. VERY few options without subscribing to their paid service and it keeps playing rain sounds on my wake setting even though nothing is set to that. DO NOT BUY!

This alarm clock plays brown noise which is helpful, but there are zero wake-up sounds that actually wake me up. Everything is soothing and relaxing and lulls me back to sleep. The one energizing playlist they have is EDM music with a terrifying DJ voice that would startle me awake in a horrible way. It’s not that difficult to build a sound machine, and alarm clock that both puts people to sleep and adequately wakes them up. The entire machine also feels cheaply made for the price. For example. I have the clock face set to show up when tapped and i have to do so at least 5 times. It also feels like light-weight cheaply made plastic. Not to mention it’s $5 a month for more sound options…. What sound options? Still slim picking and for the price it should be possible to upload different sounds/music. Don’t love that it also needs wifi to function properly. Extremely disappointed and will be looking for an alternative. There’s no reason this unit should be more than $40.
