Speakers really are a joke compared to the Hatch R
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We originally had the Hatch Rest, which stopped working, and I was so excited to buy this because I thought it would have all the great features of the less expensive one, with even more added. The only thing I like about this one is the clock. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the speakers in this machine aren't even nearly HALF as loud as the original Hatch Rest. My 20 month old son, and my husband and I are now used to sleeping with extremely loud white noise due to over 2 years of utilizing the max volume on the speakers of the Hatch Rest. I was so very disappointed. Will be returning and buying a new Hatch Rest. If you are looking for a sound machine to block out other noises aroind you to help you sleep, this is not the one. The speakers really are a joke. Hopefully they haven't altered the speakers to the Hatch Rest over the years as well....

No sounds unless you buy the sound program on line

Seemed like a good product until I tried to get the nature sounds to work. After doing some investigation on it, I found out that you had to buy the program for the sounds to work. That was another $100.00. The instructions do not mention this. I found it on the company web page. I took the machine back the same day I bought it.

Horrible device

I had a good connection when I first setup the device and it did its job waking me up but the basic plan DOES NOT have a gentle wake up feature which means the volume gradually increases. I've been talking with tech support for over a month and they continuously failed to fixed the issue. I've gotten a refund for this piece of crap and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Does not last long

I can unplug it and plug it back in and it works for a solid 10 minutes and then starts bugging out again. Super upset it stopped working. I have depended on it for the last year due to post concussion syndrome.

I’ve had this device for less than 2 months and the sound tracks have been skipping nonstop to the point where I can’t even use it as a sound machine which is what it’s main purpose is. Do not buy this product. It’s too late for me to return and wish I had read a review warning me of how faulty this device is. It’s 100% not worth it.
