This is a larger size than the standard size providing more printing capacity. Significantly cheaper than Office Depot, especially with sale price. It's a no-brainer!

HP ink does a very creditable job day in and day out! The ink does not smear and, in this machine at least, seems to last for quite a long time.

I purchased the X ink package and I can't get over how much use I got out of the cartridge. You definetly get your monies worth and then some by purchasing the X ink package.

Very good value - I like the fact the black ink is double or more the capacity of the other colors. One of the prime reasons I bought this printer in the first place.

I use HP ink cartridges exclusively. I have never had a problem with them and like that assurance. I do enough printing that I buy the large capacity cartridges for my 8600.

I only purchase the HP 'XL' cartridges because I am able to print out at least 300 more pages; better bargain...

This ink is great for users who print more pages than usual, or just want to avoid having to buy ink as often. The larger size holds more ink so you use less cartridges.
