Roku offers a free extender but I didn't have time to wait for it to ship (I was going out of town and needed this for my guest room). I bought the extender and it worked great. My petsitter had TV!

Not having any cable abilities in the bedroom, a Chromecast is the only thing we could use. The extender that came with the Chromecast was far too short and the Insignia extender did the trick!
