It’s easy to install and works most of the time. Sometimes Siri gets confused and reports she wasn’t able to open or close the door but it work. For the price it’s pretty good

I selected this because it works with Apple Home without any other equipment (like a gateway). The included videos were clear and installation was very simple. This was my first Apple Home device and am very happy with how fast I can get to the door opener my phone Control Center — no 3-rd party apps to use.

This device replaces buying a smart garage door opener it fits well into my homekit setup and best of all it did not cost much I set it up next to my hub and then installed it without problems onto my garage door opener. Sometimes there is a short delay but that is ok with me. I was able to share the device with my wife.

Works perfectly. I had been looking at competing products and did not like the price, nor the additional hardware and charges to gain full functionality. While this doesn’t include Google Assistant or Alexa support, it works with Apple HomeKit which fits with my primary smart home setup. Installation and setup were easy.

This was very simple to install. It works perfectly with Apple Homekit and is an key component in building out a home security system. The geofencing feature is great and has great safety features built in. Best Buy could have done a much better job of marketing this - I am so glad I found it!

I have a constant fear of leaving our garage door open - no more! This has been a great reassurance. I also appreciate that it integrates with my car and, via HomeKit, when I get within a block of home, or pops am option up to open my garage door. Great addition to a connected home!

There are not a lot of low cost options if you want a smart garage door opener, and I’m not sure why certain people have been having issues with this device. Confirm you have excellent Wi-Fi signal strength in your garage at the ceiling plug where you will be plugging this in. I had full strength which is 200 Mb down 10 Mb up coming from my Netgear Orbi router. I literally had this item hooked up in 10 minutes and it has not had any issues and works well. If all you want is HomeKit and Siri connectivity this device is for you, and I hooked mine up to an 18 year old Genie garage door opener, much cheaper than replacing the entire opener which still works well. Was also on sale for $45!!!!

Reason I bought this garage controller, was to know if garage door was open when I was away from the house. It has happened before, that a neighbor would call me to let me know the garage door was opened. Now with this, am able to tell. The push notifications of the door opening / closing dont work very well; at least thats my experience.

Very easy to setup, but extremely unreliable. Have two, both in locations with strong WiFi. More the 75% of the time I open the home app, one or both devices are listed as not responding. Similarly most of the times I’ve tried to open the doors via the Home app, I get a device not responding error. Do not recommend.

Very Easy installation works perfectly recommended

Just moved into a new house and I was constantly paranoid about leaving the garage door open. This device has been great. Setup is fairly simple but for some reason was being fussy with the wifi parts. Ultimately setting it up in that house then moving it to the garage made it much easier.

I can now use Siri to open my garage door without the need of any additional hubs or equipment - this was very easy to install and connected to our home app very quickly and works perfectly. It was nice to ask Siri to open our garage when we entered our ‘hood and it was open and waiting for us.

This has been a great product, and it works with homekit. It was very hard to find something that was reliable while using it with homekit but this works. The only problem I had was it reduces the range the garage remote works for some reason.

It took me just about 15 minutes to install. Sensor just sticks to your garage door. The wifi receiver needs a plug close to your garage opener. So hopefully you have a extra plug available. No app needed, just open the Home app on your iOS device and add it. Super easy and simple to use.

I watched a few videos on how to install this controller and I had it up and going in 20 minutes or less. I love the ability to raise my wrist and talk in to my Apple Watch 3 and say close my garage door or at anytime ask what is the status of my garage door and have Siri inform me.

For $49.99 this is a great adapter for your existing garage door opener. Not to mention, this was very easy to install and setup. Love the HomeKit compatibility and I suggest this product to anyone that has an iPhone, and garage door opener.
