Would not link with my phone because did not have the jack for the item to plug into.

Not sure what the problem was. 2010 Subaru Outback w factory radio.

The device would not stay connected to my iPhone 6. Returned the device the next week.

The microphone was poor, and on the 2nd use, the plug for the mic broke.

This is horrible, too much feedback. We never got it to work. Returned it within a week

I have read other reviews on this product, and I cannot imagine why anyone would give it a bad review. I LOVE absolutely everything about this device. I just bought a new Cadillac CTS that happened to not have bluetooth activated from the factory so I got a great deal on it. I was planning to have the dealer send it back at my cost to activate the bluetooth when I was told by the service guy to go to Best Buy and look at iStream - Bluestream, which would be just a few $$. I got the device for under $60 and installed it in under five minutes. I was pretty skeptical about the quality of the sound because it wasn't high-end or professionally installed so I thought it would be just an OKAY sound. Man, was I surprised to connect my phone to this small device, and hear such beautifully, clear sound. My phone found the Bluestream with no problem just like it would any other bluetooth device. It stays on at all times and my phone connects automatically when I start the car. It is easily hidden comfortably in the armrest while the one longer wire that's connected to the answer/hangup button (very small, which is great) that sits on the dash. You wouldn't even know that I had this device in my car because the long wire has been tucked under the seams of the main console, and on the side of the steering wheel creases. It is an extremely clear sound through my Bose speakers just like if it was factory installed. This is an AWESOME product to say the least. Those who are not happy with it might want to make sure their phones are up to date on the software for a bluetooth capabilities or get a better phone. :) Btw, I'm using a Samsung S5.

Great device if your car does not have bluetooth in it, nice clean sound and easy to set up, only drawback the connection cord is a little long going from the mic to the dc input.

My vehicle didn't have Blue tooth, so I went to Best Buy to find something that would work with the radio I do have in the vehicle. I found this one and thought I would give it a try. It was very easy to connect to my iPhone 6 plus and the vehicle. You must have an AUX jack in your car in order for this to work. It comes with an external microphone, but I have really had a need to use it. The sound through the speakers is very good. The only issue is, that it will cut my phone call off, but that is rare and not very difficult to call back. Works great with SIRI as well.

My car (2012 Nissan) has bluetooth phone, but I didn't realize it wasn't bluetooth streaming audio. I've been searching for a way to use an Android phone (The USB port will allow for an iphone or thumb drive with mp3's but no way to connect Android without using headphone Jack). The iphone interface started dropping connection after the latest IOS update so I switched back to my Pixel XL. I hated having an aux wire at the headphone jack at the top and a power wire at the bottom. This product works great. I can pair my phone with the car and with this accessory, and tell it phone calls to go through the built in car and the media to go through this item. I don't have the telephone mic plugged in, and it runs on a lighter socket so it shuts off when my car shuts off. Re-connects automatically whenever I go to my car and it makes it so much nicer than the wires. I can't review the bluetooth phone part as I do not use that feature but the sound quaility on streaming audio is better t han using the headphone jack directly plugged into the aux port.

I went to Bestbuy the day after the Black Friday sale expecting to get my Parrot Bluetooth system installed and of course I needed to buy extra parts. The Installation bay technician suggested that I look at this device and it was what I needed instead of the expensive parrot device. The instillation took about an hour to finish and the results are great you would think that I have factory Bluetooth installed in my car. The connection is Crisp and Seamless ( You will need to read instructions to pair ) Phone calls sound great I don't have to yell to be heard and my music streams perfectly from ALL my speakers. So if you are looking for a Bluetooth device that streams without having to use the FM radio then this is it.

The unit is easy to setup, easy to pair and connects to your phone when you start your vehicle. The deal killer for me was that every time the unit is activated it plays a very audible sound prompt. (Think of the Southwest Airlines "ding" here but much more annoying.) For example every time my GPS gives me an instruction the unit will play this sound. Not only does it play the sound before the GPS speaks but also after the GPS is finished speaking. It did the same thing while using Siri or any other app that want to access the device. I called their technical support and was told that there is no way to turn off the sound prompt. I installed this device while in the parking lot of my local Best Buy store. By the time I got home I was so tired of the sound that I turned right around and returned the unit.

I got this to connect my phone to my car via Bluetooth as my audio output jack on my phone had broken. This was one of the least expensive ones I could find so I wasn't expecting much. The first one I bought had a bad power supply, I tried it in the parking lot and took it right back in for a replacement. The one I have now works great for music. Good bass and good clear sound. When making calls with it it did not sound as good as my noise canceling Bluetooth ear bud, but that is to be expected and my primary use is for music anyway. I am happy with my purchase and I do recommend this product!

The iSimple - BluStream Bluetooth Factory Radio Module is a great product. It is extremely easy to install and works as it should. The music and call quality are great. Many of the negative reviews I see regarding this product come from users expecting it to do something it was not designed to do. If you are looking for an inexpensive noninvasive bluetooth option to add to your car this is a great buy!

For only $60, this thing packs a ton of features. I thought it would be easy to pair the first time, but I had to go read the directions to do it. It actually was very easy but there is an important step to hold the button long enough. I tried it first without the optional mic button and people said my voice sounded good, but I paid the install bay $20 to hide the wires and then people said it sounded like I was talking on my phone not a handsfree kit. The music play was a shock how good it sounded. The sound is crystal clear and it hits all of the frequencies, way better than any FM mod piece. I do not experience the beep the other guy talked about but I think that is his phone not this piece.

I purchased this to add Bluetooth music and speakerphone to my Ford Escape without the cost of major upgrades or installation and it performed as advertised and better than I had expected. Music comes through clear with a well rounded sound, obviously this is not the highest quality sound bit definitely a strong aftermarket Bluetooth option. The speakerphone functionality with the remote mic is outstanding. Definitely a great affordable option to add Bluetooth and speakerphone to your vehicle.
