If your looking to turn heads as you pass by I suggest you pass on these. But for the price you can't complain.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I incorporated this unit into a Best Buy sub package for my SUV including: - JBL - CX Series 12" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer – Black, Model: CX1200 - Pioneer - 1600W Class D Digital Mono MOSFET Amplifier with Wired Bass Boost Remote – Black, Model: GM-D8601 - Metra - 12" Single Ported Subwoofer Enclosure for Most Trucks and SUVs Charcoal, Model: TCTSP-112 Fortunately, most have been on sale at BB recently, and the whole package cost under $300. Cable kit and installation (if needed) will be extra, of course (~$150 at BB). It is an understatement to say that I was amazed at the quality and level of bass that I am getting out of this <$300 amp/sub combo. If your SUV needs a sub and you still have a budget to keep in mind, don’t hesitate to give this combination a try.

I bought 2 of these subwoofers a year and a half ago for $60 a pop. They’re STILL going strong and have shown their durability and quality. Sound-wise, if paired with the right amp and enclosure, heads will turn as you come down the block. I’ve gotten as loud as some dual Kicker CompR setups (which are twice the price). The quality is also AMAZING, frequencies are recreated with great accuracy and sounds clean even with a ported box. Needless to say, I’m very happy I bought these over Kicker or other competitors.
