Q: Looking for an amp to power 1 of these subwoofers, any suggestions.
A: Hello! Our Club 5501 mono amp can power up one CX1200 subwoofer.
A: Depends on if u have an extended cab or not. If not then I would recommend any shallow style 12 in with a non ported truck box
Q: Do guys do installation for car speaker
A: Yes I had Best Buy tech install it. It's a great speaker, but it doesn't have a cone protector
A: I would go with an 800-1200 watt amp kit. Always give yourself more room to upgrade. It better to have more. It's cost and time effective in the long run.
Q: Would the alpine mrv m500 be able to power two of these jbl subs?
A: Heck yes, 2-cx1200 12” subs are svc 4ohms, the alpine is mono 20hms 4ohms 300 Watts. Wire the subs in parralel and each sub will get 250 perfect watts of alpine goodness!!
Q: What amplifier would work best to power 2 of these?
A: the first guy should of told you that a mono sub amp is the best type of amp if you have 2 subs and a 2 channel amp is the best if yo have one.
