I had them installed thinking I was getting a “bang” for my buck. Bass is okay. Reviews had me thinking I would be able to spare myself the expense of getting a sub/amp for a while combining these with the 6x9’s. Average speakers in my opinion. Literally depends on the song being played if you get the bass effect (stocks were better). I listen to mostly hip hop/RNB & still feel the same. Nice upgrade for someone who wants to upgrade. Pricey for an average upgrade. More than likely I paid for the name. 6x9’s sound good in the rear though! (Two stars rates as “fair”).
