    The little Suzuki that could got a speaker upgrade

    I have an old 1994 Suzuki Sidekick. the tech squad computer said it is supposed to have 4 inch speakers in the back, but I had some crusty 6.5's in the back and the paper cones and baffles were starting to tear. So I went to my local Best Buy and thank goodness they still have the speaker and head unit shoot-out area. the JBL brand speakers nearly had no rival. I believe the high end Kicker was close but went with these puppys. Even with the original wiring, and no amp to push them further than the aftermarket head unit in my vehicle, these are clear, incredible concise speakers for a small SUV like my Sidekick. I built some wooden enclosures and angled them forward slightly and I am enjoying listening to music in my old beast again. Cheers. 10/10 recommend these speakers.

    Quality product and fairly easy install

    The speakers are great, producing high and low sounds that would please almost everyone. This was my first speaker job I’ve done, they fit in my 2013 Ford Fusion just fine. I did have to do some custom wiring from the old speaker wire and adapter (see photo). Install took about 2 hours.

    Fantastic speakers for 2016 rogue sv

    I love them. Best And crisp sound. I took my factory speakers out and replaced them with these bad boys. You don’t even need an amp. I listen to heavy metal and rock! (Example Gojira and Emmure). The mounting was the hardest part to figure it out but all you have to do is make the holes bigger and add some washers! I used original bolts from factory to keep the integrity of the doors! Love em and go get them! Talk to Best Buy guy who use to do installs to figure out the best speakers. Great advice! Go to YouTube to figure out how to pop doors. Do it on a hot day. Thanks Best Buy. I am so glad I came in-store!

    Great speakers for the price

    I have spent double the price for speakers that don’t sound nearly as good as these. Great value for the money!

    Such an improvement from factory speakers!!!

    Replaced my 7 speaker/sub car stereo system with all JBL and WOW what an upgrade!!! I am very happy with the overall crispness and clarity these speakers deliver...def worth the $ for better a better sound experience!!!

    Yes, you may also need a 6.5" speaker adapter for a perfect fit.

  • Will I need an amp if I am planning on putting them in all four doors of my 2018 Toyota Corolla?

    Our JBL GX602's should work with standard head units in cars. If your vehicle has 6 1/2" speaker mount, then the GX602 would fit your vehicle. The GX602 is a 6 1/2" coaxial type of car speakers, so you would need to use a coaxial cable for it.

  • Will these fit a 2016 Ford Focus se? Can’t find accurate sizes of speakers.

    JBL GX Series 6.5” has dimensions of a cutout diameter of 5.2 inches and mount depth of 2 inches. Its design doesn't fit your 2016 Ford Focus SE.
