They work as they should. Makes install simple and helps create space for speakers with bigger magnets. I used these to install a set of crescendo pwx 6.5s and infinity 6.5 in my 2012 tahoe.

??? Not quite sure about these. The Tech seemed pleased to have them. Not everything in bag was used. So: Old speaker dead. Dead speaker has to come out. Dead speaker was 6 inch. But (and, there is always a but) The new speaker is 6 inch also. Yet, not all 6 inch speakets are created equal. The plastic adapters some how mate the holes in the 19 year old truck door to the new speaker. (aka and, then a miracle happened) To me, it sounded like a job for duct tape and JB Weld. Now, this could have been worse. All four speakets were blown. This process only cured two. Had the shop had another bag of brackets, I would've sprung for two more speakers.

These adapter rings were a perfect fit for a 2007 Chevy HHR. They made the speaker installation a snap with the wiring harness adapters also available at Best Buy. Make sure that you save the noise dampening material from the back of the old speaker and apply it to the adapter rings to prevent any rattling.
