This review might be a bit biased because I love JBL but... these are great! I paired them with a kicker amp pushing 90 RMS @ 2 ohms. These are rated at 60 RMS @ 2.3 ohms but as long as I dont turn up the music trying to deafen myself, the speakers should be fine.

OK 'Fill' Sound

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these to replace the overhead factory soundbar speakers in my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I had to modify the stock covers as they were contacting the speaker edge roll material, also had to use some washers on the grill mounting screws for the same reason. To be honest they sound about the same as the factory originals, but with higher frequency response and a minor improvement in sound quality. I should note that I'm still using (for now) the stock Infiniti amplifier and from what I've read the soundbar speakers are not driven full power as they're used to 'fill' the sound in Jeeps. So maybe not a fair comparison. I do plan on upgrading the amplifier next summer so I will know better then. For now I'm not overly impressed but I only paid $50 for them on sale.

Yet, I was expecting more base and better sound overall. I guess for the price they do the job. I installed them in a van!

Stuck with my window down for several weeks. I had to pay out of my own pocket to get it fixed. Although, I would recommend the speakers though minus the installation service...
