Really good speakers great sound really easy to install

This speaker have been life. They've In hanced my daily and travel driving life. And they were super easy to install.

Replaced factory Mazda speakers, kept factory radio. Installed easily, sounds great. Zero distortion at full volume, clean, crisp sound. I will buy more asap to replace factory speakers in my Ford.

Well i cant say anything about them yet aside from the fact the website says they fit a 1997 continental when they do not. You will have to modify everything in some way in order to get the speakers to fit they are not plug in play and if you think you can just buy them and install them no problem forget it you will need to pay someone either best buy or a shop. You would think jbl ford no problem they have worked together for years well i wish these just slipped right in. Also these are rated at 2.3 ohm not sure what would happen at 4 ohms but id imagine do the math they handle maybe 45 watts at 4ohm rms no where near 75w what a user claimed so i would be careful. Im not sure what ill have to do to install these would have been easier with sadly the kenwoods which are also on sale and handle more power 100w rms at 4 ohms vs maybe 50w at 4ohms without blowing. Now i dont know for sure if these jbl will handle the 75w rms my amp puts out without blowing up but most door speakers dont seem to last long even at just 10 watts over rms. you are not going to get no where close to 180w without smoking these speakers or any car speaker at max rated. If using an amp on these id be careful hopefully they can take more abuse then a rockford punch 6.5. Most 4ch amps now put out around 75w rms so id look for a speaker with more power ideally but im willing to try these in lincoln jbl ford it makes sense i just hope they dont disappoint me. If these speakers blow up in a month or 2 after modifying factory mounting bracket or busting up the brackets that come with the speakers id deff say not worth it. however if you are going to just run off a head unit and no amp im sure these speakers will have no problems. Basically right out of the box they do not fit my lincoln for some of you that might be a problem but if your willing to have a shop do the work which might cost 100$ who knows maybe 50. if you want ease id stay away from these. The problem i have is that the speaker holes do not line up with the factory bracket. you would have to drill holes in the factory plastic bracket and the speakers themselves to get everything to line up. if you do not care about flush mounting tight you could still screw these down till they bottom out on the 3 lips that stick out but then you will have a quarter inch gap all around the speaker. You could get all 4 screws in without doing anything extra and try that but speakers would not be flush so no telling if your door panel would go back on all the way either Some cars they might fit directly but good luck figuring that info out you might have to read these reviews for hours or read questions for hours. Rated fair because i still have not heard how they sound the quality of the sound could still be worth all the extra effort but as far as the install im a little disappointed so far my major issue

Best Buy said it fit my car with some adapters they said would work. Absolutely did not fit. Once we finally got it connected the sound was crisp but only the vocals of the music there was zero midrange and bass. If u want any bass at all please don’t buy these.

Went to store to listen to these. They only had 3 or 4 tracks to listen to quite annoying compared to the good old days when you could listen to anything you wanted....... Anyway - the highs of these were VERY "plasticy" - lots of weird phasey hashy sound which "sounds like" what the little difuser/guides on the tweeters LOOK like they would sound like... The lows and mids were "lackluster". The only other speakers they had around this price were the Kickers - which sounded somewhere better.

I wasn’t too impressed. I thought they would have been louder and better bass. The price was decent for quality.
