Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as it supports phone mirroring. Just a heads up for installing. To bypass the parking brake, all you need to do is attach the green wire for parking brake to a ground. That's it. If you use a PAC device to enable Steering Wheel Controls (SWC) just attach the Blue/green wire to the Remote wire and you're done. Easy peasy.

It disconnects my phone and I have to go through the Bluetooth setup like 4 times to get it to reconnect. The screen touch is not sensitive you have to push it hard. It has a bad glare when the sun shines on it it blinds me. I had to do a factory reset one time because my sister connected her phone and I tried to switch it to mine and it froze. I probably need a software update but I can't figure out how to do it without the USB stick - it came already installed when I bought the car but no update USB.

Awful product

There is one rca output for subwoofers and minimal control within the head unit. The high and low pass filters seem to function within a tolerable range. The screen mirror feature is evidently a joke. It is nowhere near 1080p. I have a galaxy Note 8 and while mirroring i can not read any text that appears on the screen due to pixelation. On top of just being incredibly sub par, the unit also has a random quirk where it will freeze during operation and scroll the current song information as well as lock all buttons out for a period of about 1min. This occurs only on bluetooth for some reason and seems to have no trend I've noticed in the past 6months ive been stuck with the thing. Cant wait until I have enough saved to buy my next pile of crap... smh. Good one JVC.
