Don't want to give it one star worst deck I've ever owned the menu button don't work most of the time I broke the plastic on the front of mine trying to get it to work impossible to do when you're driving there's no remote with the deck you have to order that separate that's 30 bucks unless they've started putting one in it but yeah I'm very unhappy with mine you can't change songs doing it manually most of the time it won't fast forward to the next track

Very nice head unit for the money. Installed with no problem in a 2006 Subaru Forester.

This is my first review I have ever written and that because I had no other choice. The quality and diversity of the features on thing way exceeded my expectations and basically blew my mind while I was standing there in the store looking at all the other double din touch screens none the less, and trying to figure out how to justify and talk myself out of buying this thing so I could have a TV instead but for near $100 and having everything I needed I couldn't resist. First of all don't let the fact that it doesn't have a car player or look very new or fresh or whatever fool you because the illumination settings are actually pretty cool. Numerous colors and locations on the face to change them and have them going off to the music is the coolest especially since I have a pretty diverse sound system. Now I normally use my amps to adjust my crossovers etc. But one of my amps doesn't have a slope setting and this stereo not only has a slope setting but the crossover for the tweeters, front, rear, and subwoofer. Then what really blew my mind was how I could input what size speakers I'm using in my car for my tweeters(large) mids(6.5") and subwoofer(10") I could choose what size car I'm in (compact) and the EQ from 65hz ( with a bass extension so the sub plays well below that) all the up to 16k hz with I believe 13 bands made it so I could pinpoint where a how I wanted my music to sound. I literally tossed my crossover to the back of the car as well after using the crossover points. I could write about this forever main point is this thing although it might not look like it is perfect for the experienced audiophile who needs something cheap but diverse for their sound system. It also can be used by the average individual though don't let the comment push those people away. In the end I gotta say thanks JVC! effing awesome product!
