They cannot handle any bass being routed to them. They are essentially midrange speakers with a tweeter that seems like it is more for decoration than function.

No bass what so ever. I was very disappointed with this purchase. I guess you get what you paid for. But for some Kenwood speakers I had better expectations. I need to replace my car speakers again. This time ill use Alpines instead.

Had high hopes for these speakers, but they are getting returned. Very little bass and a LOT of treble. Even using the eq controls, I could not get these speakers to sound full and balanced.

Sound horrible. Highs are too tinny and the lows are muffled and muddy. Should have spent more. Not sure I can be bothered to take them out and return them.

I don’t like the sound at all I was looking for a sound like my Bose that I had in the car will be going back to Bose

Blown is just over a year. Had these put in my vehicle that I rarely drive and they are worthless.

These speakers transformed the sound in my Honda Civic. Not a lot of bass (I use an Infinity Basslink for that), but clear mid-range and treble with a lot of presence. Also come with good installation guide.

Sounds great! Great on mids and highs. Bass is good but a subwoofer would really compliment these. I listen to Pop, Hip Hop, Classical, and Country. They do well for this type of music.

The speakers were easy to install and produced a good sound. I would recommend this product for anyone wanting to upgrade their speaker system

I put these in the front door of my Corolla. Sound really good. Highs are detailed and crisp. Mids are crystal clear, bass is pretty good for the size, too...though hardly an issue with a sub. And Best Buy had the best price. No regrets!

I had these speakers installed today, along with the DMX7706s head unit on my 2016 accord. The clarity and over all improvement from stock to aftermarket is night and day. I did add some noise dampening material on the door panels which I feel improved the sound quality as well. The head unit allows for many adjustments so that you get the best possible sound for your particular vehicle. Also, highly recommend a mounting bracket, makes installation very easy. Overall very happy with the purchase, although installation was a bit of a disappointment as it took 2 hours longer than anticipated. I would recommend these over the JBLs I tried before, going to be buying 2 more of these for my rear deck.

I replaced the stock Bose speakers in my 2001 Acura MDX with these (still have stock radio). I did a lot of back and forth between these and a bunch of other speakers. I decided to take a chance with Kenwood. I notice there are a few comments about being an ok speaker, or not good for any bass. I believe the issue that some may have is they are replacing their stock speakers with these Kenwood's but have no amp. If you are lucky enough like I was, your car may have some type of low end amp. The installation was very simple for my application. I only needed to pop the speaker screen and unscrew the factory speaker. The Kenwood fit in all 4 of my doors with very minimal effort. I only had to make new screw holes, which I used a self tap screw to accomplish. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend these! they create a very clean crisp sound, and put out bass that makes my car sound like it has 2 8" subs. Even at low volumes you can enjoy a full rich depth in sound. If you are reading this and do not have some type of amp. I would highly recommend one in order to achieve the desired sound you will be looking for.

Sounds great in our old 2006 minivan. The fit in the doors as the are the exact same size as the factory speakers. They are crisp and clear with the DVD player we installed.

These Kenwoods speakers are great 10/10 just didn’t like how they came with no connectors so had to get my own but other then that they work great.

Delivered on time eazy install my second pair of these speakers got 3 years of heavy abuse out of the first pair good sound quality and the price is right

Im very happy with the sound quality of these speakers. Bass is not the best but definitely packs a punch. Would recommend getting a sub for these
