A: No they are not plug and play. No adapter is available. You will have to cut the existing wires, strip them and connect them to the leads on the new speaker set. This is not a difficult task other than determining which wire on the truck is positive and which is negative you will need to determine that in order to correctly hook up your new speaker. Also it's very unlikely that the existing screw holes for holding the speaker in place will correspond with the holes on your new speaker you will have to use different screws such as self tapping screws.
