I bought these as a replacement after my stock JBL's blew. The install was very simple, only had to solder two wires per speaker, the 1st took about 10 mins to install as I messed around until I figured it out and the other only took about 5 mins once I knew what I was doing. They're a big upgrade from my stock JBL's while still being affordable, I spent $80 at the time and I don't regret it whatsoever. Very simple and enjoyable 10/10

Another excellent product from Kenwood. Sound is extremely clear and precise and the bass exceeds expectation. Paired with an amp these speakers blow the competition away. Worth every penny!!

Good option to replace OE speakers. Sound is decent and build qualit is ok. Did have an issue with one of the connecting tabs breaking off when attaching female speaker connector. Was able to solder piece back and finish installation.

As an audiofile myself, heres my honest review of the concert series: I came from the front speakers (Rockford Fosgate 3 Way R165X3) and rear speakers (Boss Audio 4 Way NX654). I wanted to go back to 2 way thinking it would sound better and overall just match the rear and the front. Keep in mind also the power is entirely stock (40w per channel) and I have no plans to add an amplifier to my car; been there done that. Smog technicians in California HATE when you add things to your car yourself and i refuse to pay the hefty labor for a shop to put one in but I digress. The Kenwood concert series were on a good deal at Best Buy so I thought I’d chance it. Install was about what I expected since I kind of already did this with the previous aftermarkets previously mentioned. I also have an aftermarket Pioneer head unit with a full EQ which makes everything exactly how I want it. Here’s what I noticed after a lot of driving and many adjustments: the bass is pretty decently okay on a stock system after tuned, but it struggles at the very high volume end. The treble is super clear and is probably the best part. No matter how well you tune these, there is still distortion when you turn it up all the way; I cant speak for somebody who has these on an amp but with stock power they will still struggle in the higher volumes. They do however do just a little bit better at handling distortion than the other speakers I used to have and I dont really miss the mids that the other speakers had. Again I’m only running (and will continue to) my stock 40 watts per speaker and they can take up to 100 RMS so I have no idea what theyd sound like at higher power. Only recommend if you have a full EQ radio otherwise I would not buy these. As with all speakers, these seem to handle some types of bass really well (general kicker thump, upper bass, pop music) and other bass not so good (lower end bass, some hip hop, slight distorted filter bass) so take that as you will. As mentioned, I’m only running (and will continue to) stock 40 watts and these can take up to 100 watts RMS so I don’t know what they sound like at full handling. One thing I did notice though was how much better the rear speakers improved over the previous ones, the overall quality is soooo much better and they don’t rattle around like the Boss’s did. Do not use any “bass boost” or “loudness” settings because these speakers in particular will suffer, instead just do your best in the EQ to bump the bass up and clear up the noticeable distortion the best you can. My volume goes up to 40 and I noticed some bad distortion at 34-36 volume or so on the best settings. At middle volume and when tuned right, these can do really well. Kenwood is a good brand I plan to keep these speakers around.

Bought a pair of 6.5" 2 way Kenwood Concert Series speakers for the front doors on my 2000 Chevy Silverado, and I have to say they are probably the best set of speakers I have ever purchased. Sound great at low and high volume. Also, these do not distort at high volume. Have decent bass for the size, and nice crisp highs. Originally $80, but got them on sale for $60. I have a Kenwood Excelon head unit that powers them. Great combination!!

Sounds great for a small speaker. I put in my camp trailer and the entertainment system. Great for the price and easy to install. The outside cover is hard to keep on the speaker it wants to keep falling off

I bought 2 sets of these speakers to replace the aftermarket pioneer speakers that I had in my car for over 10 years and so far so good, they sound pretty good easy to install, fit my door and rear hatch nicely, the old speakers would touch the door panel in some spots, only problem I can speak of is that the mounting hardware wasn't the greatest, the provided screws didn't hold tight enough in the mounting brackets and they would vibrate loose so I had to use some of my own hardware but other than that pretty good and hope to get long life out of these

Replaced the factory rear speakers of my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. These fit perfectly. You do need a mounting bracket with them but that is easy to find. The sound quality over the factory is by far superior. The magnet size is also great compared to the factory ones. Be sure to put in some dynomat when you replace the speakers. That too will also help with road noise as well as carry the speaker sound better.

These are good speakers over stock. The stock ones went out in my kids car so these went in. Very happy with them. Easy install.

My son blew out his car speaker in his Kia Optima, this was a replacement. Speaker sounds okay, it was an easy install for my 17 year old son. Price point is okay for value. No complaints from my son at this time.
