Speaker did not last part my 1st week of ownership

But now that they are installed in my vehicle, they do not sound as loud as they did in the store. Also, they make a rattling noise on lower frequency tones. I brought my vehicle into the store, so the installer could hear it for themselves, but they belive its not the speaker. I'm certain the speaker has a defect, but no one will admit it.
