Not enough power for me. I needed an amp that would give me at least 300 watts. It didn't

This amp was amazing until it gave out after a few days of listening

Bought this as a open box item, little less than a hundred bucks. It was connected to a 15" skar sub at 4ohms. Found three mosfets had exploded when I lost bass one morning, and pulled it's cover to inspect. I will stay away from the low end Kenwood/JVC equipment from now on.

I have one of these under one seat. Decided to buy another. For different a different sub rather than lose wattage. These are ok for the price. But they charged me for a new one and when i opened it noticed it was missing the cover for the wiring and there was a printed out paper by best buy stated it worked, had no issues and all parts were included. It also had fuzz inside most likely from the car carpet or sub box it was mounted to. My original one works fine. At 4 ohms its 300watts rms and 2 ohms its 500watts rms. So i wouldnt recommend it for waking the neighbors but its fine for making you say "what?" A lot more. I recommend 2 ohms @ 500 watts.

I will see how the replacement does but my original purchase stopped outputting sound after two weeks. Was definitely the amp. Not the sub or wiring. The replacement works, will see for how long.

Really disappointing. We’ve lost two of these amps driving the two 12” Kenwood subs sold with this amp as a package at Best Buy. Kenwood replaced the first amp. I suspect the problem is the subs are sold as 4 ohms each, but actually present somewhat lower impedances; therefore when combined present less than 2 ohms (1.6-1.7), which the amplifier clearly cannot drive. Best Buy has been helpful. Going there again later to see how they want to manage this second failure. Hoping for the best.

Mist the warranty return by 3 days had the most terrible customer service ever to return or exchange this item . Geek squad I had to wait to get served because their appointments were full but the time their was nobody their . It would take 3 weeks to get it repaired. Still just sitting in the trunk I got ripped of sucks that's why I should of kept buying from Amazon. I thought best buy would be god to shop in thought wrong never ever shopping their again .

I tried this amp is good for small speakers but definetly what ir says in the amp not hi in rms

Not a good amp. It was properly installed and did not work. It was connected to the battery, but power did not get to the speakers…something inside the amp was not right.

Weak amp definitely not pushing anything near the 1000w peak.

Never thought I’d have to write this review. Literally bought it new and after having it hooked up for about 2 months it stopped working. I checked fuses, my connections and everything was fine. You’d think for the price it’ll last a while, guess that’s not the case. I’m very disappointed.

Amplifier has great clarity! no interference from connections.

If buying to push anything more than a subwoofer, do not buy! Mine burned out within two days of installing it. Had bought in bundle with 2 12in kenwood subs and box(from Best Buy). Upgraded to a 1500 planet audio amplifier, I’m very satisfied with that purchase

Great while lasted but broke pretty quickly and wasn’t even bring mishandled

Missing parts and the store would not take any more off the price they said they would throw it away first

This just didn't do it for me. I returned and swapped for JBL powered sub.

Junk don't waste your time or money, only lasted 2 months, kenwood warranty subs the repairs out and YOU pay for shipping, YOU pay a 35$ diagnostic fee, that is not warranty, review this amp online and all you find is problems get a kicker or something else who stands by there product

Would give less if i could, it blew up 3 TIMES!! under my seat thankfully my car didnt catch on fire but Best Buy was the one who installed it... they gave me a new brand which is working fine but do not buy this amo

Bought this in a package with 2 kenwood road series subwoofers and it blew in about 4 months. And was being used very carefully, wasn’t being pushed very hard.
