Not fully compatible with Moto G4 Play
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The major problem I have with this radio is that the phone book does not work properly with Motorola G4 play. Each of the entries has the phone number of a different entry. It can be very confusing until you realize what is going on. My second minor complaint is that the display is not readable in direct sunlight. Other than that the radio is fine. Other than the phone book issue it works fine for making and receiving phone calls hands free. You just cannot use the phone book to look up and automatically dial numbers. Kenwood says that none of their radios are compatible with Moto G4 Play.

Just a good radio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit for my jeep. I picked it up for it features and hands free Bluetooth. The receiver works great but dont expect any Bluetooth with an android. I am a tech so I read all the info even did a firmware update before calling Kenwood. I was told do you have a S7 or S6, I said no a Note 5, oh well we know there is an issues with the 6 and 7. We are working on it. So i just happen to have a Note 4 in my drawer and I tried to hook it up for the Pandora the unit wouldnt even see it. On my Note 5 when I can get it to hook up the sound quality is garbage. I would have so picked another unit if I knew this was going to be the case.
