When I get a phone call, it doesn't come through the radio as it should, then when I get off the phone, I have to cut the radio off and back on to get it back to the radio. I'm too lazy to take it back. Sounds decent, nothing special. I expected something better or maybe I'm not doing something right. After the install, I've spent about 4 hours over 3 different days to fix this issue but no luck.

Programing channels on serius and even getting the time to show up is a challenge.

This in-dash receiver has good features, but the buttons were difficult to activate.

One of the main reasons I bought this headunit.. bluetooth. What part of this things doesn't work worth a darn? The bluetooth. Even after 6 firmware revisions, it's still horrible. I could tape my phone to the phone of it and it will still randomly disconnect.

I found the product to nothing like a expected. Not happy need to return product.

The Kenwood KMM-BT518HD is an excellent head unit. At 22 Rms/channel x 4. It offers plenty of power as a base unit for audio enthusiasts looking for good 4 speaker sound without costing a fortune. It has plenty of features as well. The blue tooth paired easily with my android phone and will pair up to two phones. The front panel USB and 3.5mm auxiliary inputs are awesome. It's so much better having front panel access to a USB source instead of having to open the glove box to access it. It also has a rear source USB with glove box access just in case you need two sources. Last but not least is the sound quality that this unit produces. It is an excellent unit and well worth the money.

I replaced an older non-blue tooth Kenwood receiver in my little S10. I decided to go with the KMM-BT518HD for the HD radio and I did not need a CD player anymore. At first I had multiple issues with blue tooth not working and switching sources would totally crash the head unit. After a little bit of research and a firmware upgrade, all is good now. I paired this receiver with a Kicker 600 watt amp, a Kicker 12" sub in a pickup truck behind the seat box, two kicker 2 way 6.5" door speakers and 2 Sony 4x6 3 way dash speakers. With all the configurable sound options and x-over of this receiver, I was able to configure a pretty good sounding system.
