My son is on his third sub. Not sure what is wrong but speakers keep blowing. Have the 600:1 kicker amp and the gain is currently turned down to just above 1/4 of the way. I have read some other people had these blow recently, maybe a bad batch of speakers from kicker not sure. These speakers should never blow with the gain that low.

This was an ok product. I was expected a way more crisp sound.

Delivers god base but way to big. Takes up a lot of space

The first one I bought cooked within a week the second one didn't work very well either I inevitably had to replace it with the dual subwoofer enclosure I wouldn't recommend it at all

This speaker is garbage. I purchased one and replaced it within a couple weeks under warranty (that best buy tried their hardest not to cover) the 2nd speaker has blown today. I'm running a 500watt monoblock alpine amp at 3/4 gain. I even did a break in with the 2nd speaker hoping it would help. I don't bang music or push my woofers too hard. This speaker is simply trash. DO NOT BUY.

The bestbuy tech that hooked my music up did a poor job. He punched holes in the back seat of my brand new car to mount the amp on the back and my arm rest was nailed to the seat and wouldn’t come down. Now I have holes in the back seat of my brand new car. Best Buy claimed they replaced it but if so why are the holes still in the seat

Blew as soon as the warranty went out. Had to ship off for repairs.

I was dissatisfied with this sub. Didn't bump as hard as I would've liked it to.

I purchased this speaker for my car and the first time I turned it on it didn’t work. I called Best Buy and the customer service was amazing and sent a replacement immediately.

I had all the proper equipment installed to use this speaker and it stopped working after a week and Best Buy refused to replace it or help me period!

Had the sub less than a month and it fried. Smelled like death and was Smokey. It apparently can not handle 600 watts RMS

I set my amp to the lowest possible setting and my speaker burnt out twice. It was the worst and took to much of my time away.

I normally don't review items but this is an exception. I purchased the the 10 compC for my lexus Es. It sounded decent and i kept forcing myself to like it. I went into best buy and saw this compR enclosure on sale and decided to exchange the 10 and pay the difference. Immediately upon connecting and turning on my car I FELT AT EASE. What I wanted the 10 to do this 12 did it at ease. The 10 gave an extended BROOOOOMMM (yes, with an R) while the 12 gave a BOOM with a (THUMP) which was what i was looking for. Don't fool yourself get the best if you can. And remember if your are forcing yourself to like something, you've failed... take it back and buy the premium one.

Great sub and lots of bass, fit perfect in my vehicle

I had a Kicker 44DCWC102 which is a ported dual 10 inch CompC loaded enclosure in a 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport. Definitely loud but it took up too much space and sounded a little muddy. I bought this 12 inch sub in store on sale at $188 to replace the old one and at lower volumes, it sounds just as loud. It does sound much more punchy but that could be because I haven't broken it in yet. I am satisfied so far and will give it time to break in before I crank up the volume. I have an Alpine PDR-V9 powering this sub as well as it did for the old one so I'm not worried of over or under powering it.

We will be returning this product to best buy this weekend. It doesn't work

You can have your volume at 10 out of 40 and it would still blow

Been great handles everything I’ve thrown at it and I’m very happy with my purchase. Running it on 900watts and still pushing Loud for a single 12 hits decent lows it’s a small form box so for that it’s very strong in the deep bass

hooked it up in the parking lot right after i picked it up. this has way more punch than my old 10. selected 12” subwoofer on the headunit and wow! it really opened up. this seems to be tuned just right to be tight and punchy. it’s heavy, the quality is solid and looks very clean. highly recommended!
