Hooked this up with a 1600w amp and have everything tuned to about 3/4 of the way and it kicks my entires car.

Sub hits hard and im using a weak amp cant wait to buy a stronger amp

Not to much but definitely gets the car shaking a little not overpowering

To be real these subs get a lot more hype that what they actually deserve. Don’t get me wrong they’re not some cheap boss or Pyle sub that you get from Walmart they’re better than that, but they are definitely NOT worthy of being classified with the top of the line, prime subwoofers. I’ll tell you why. These are rated at 750w RMS power - but in my real life experiences with these subs when you give them 750 watts RMS power they will not last longer than 10 mins. Hope you bought the protection plan. I have blown 4 of these speakers in the last 4 months while feeding the speaker 750-800 watts, which is just flat out pathetic. Prime Subwoofers should be able to Handle the watts they’re rated for plus some especially at this price. I’ve never had a type R 12 or a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer blow while I’m giving them the watts the manufacturer says they are meant to handle, but I’ve had a kicker sub do it... 4 times. Bottom line is that they are fragile and weak subs and people at kicker don’t seem to care. The bass that’s produced is hard to explain in writing but it is not good. I’d like to get loud deep crisp sounding bass coming from my subs but instead these give you a more sloppy sounding bass. Hard to explain but if you listen to these and then you listen to two alpine type r 12s there’s a huge difference which is not in Kickers favor. The warranty offered by Kicker is a joke. You’re better off buying a new subwoofer. You pay for shipping to and from kicker warehouse if you file a warranty claim. That’s a heavy speaker you’re looking at at least $100 shipping just for them to look at it and see if they can come up with an excuse why they won’t cover it. Whoever did the wires inside the box should be fired immediately. They didn’t strip the wire jacket back far enough So they will come loose from the voice coil terminal and the soldering Job looks like it was done by a child. Take the sub out and rewire it when you first get it so you don’t have to worry about it. Also two of the 4 solo barics I purchased were incorrectly wired! How is that even possible!? They’re supposed to be “loaded and ready to go at 1 ohm” but half of the time they’ve not been wired down to 1 ohm when I pulled it out of the box. If you are looking for an elite subwoofer I’m sorry but you will not find it from Kicker. Like I said, they get a lot of hype for nothing. I would not recommend.

I’ve owned a pair of the older one and these blew up in 2 days while going easy on them as I was attempting to break them in. Maybe it’s just a defective one I got, but I’ll certainly give it another shot.

Not worth the money when you can better subwoofer for cheaper.

It was a decent sub but for the $$ and brand, I expected more.

Poor installation. Never secured to vehicle so it just slides around in trunk. Never use Best Buy!

Tit is not what I expected. It sees liekeitjas a shortage in it and doesn’t hit right.

Got this instead of a double 12" for the same price, and it was well worth it. Running it with a 1600w 800 RMS pioneer amp and it sounds spectacular. Had it installed in the store and the staff did an amazing job with installation, going as far as to tune it twice.

Definitely better than the previous generation of L7. Highly recommend getting geek squad protection too as they do a great job and why not when it comes to a sub that could potentially blow until you have a better feel for the woofer. This edition of the woofer hits harder and lowwer and louder. I got two but tried one and it was enough!

The legend kicker L7 is one solid subwoofer! Powered right won't disappoint.
