This is a good product to save you space. It is a lot easier to use than stackable units. washes clothes in a short time with the turbo wash, but is noisier than regular washer. dryer does good job but because exhaust has a longer run it always give you a code at end of cycle.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Ordered online and had it delivered. I installed myself, but they can do it for you and take the old one away if you want to. Compared to my old one, it’s a very quite machine. It must be leveled, otherwise it could shake a little during the fastest spin cycle. Once leveled perfectly, there is no shaking. I do notice the drying time is a bit faster than my old one too, feels like the clothes come out hotter. And I love the steam setting for shirts. The manual says the washing machine door gasket/plastic must be hand dried to avoid any bad smells. So far, two months into use and still smells like new.

This thing is great! Saves so much room in our little laundry room. No complaints about the washer or dryer. They are so much better than the 10 year old Kenmore products we replaced.

Added a second laundry room downstairs in our house. This unit fits the space perfectly. I like how the controls are located in the middle. Dont forget the hose splitter if you buy the unit with the steam function. BB website did not advise of this at time of purchase, lucky for me the install guy had one on truck to sell me, I guess this has happened before. The one that comes with the dryer unit requires a third hose and is made of plastic. Buy the BB one, worth the cost for quality.

We got a set of - they were big and dwarfed the room. Our room isn't that small but laundry machines thee days are BIG. So we went with this - for one reason - the controls are in the middle. If you stack them then the dryer controls are really high up. The laundry center solves that problem. The only downside is that the washer doesn't have a pedestal so you have to bend over a little. But it's a good trade to gain a lot of space in the room. Plus the light in each is far more helpful than I expected. Plus the controls are much better and easier to see that the ones we had before. If you aren't tall and space is an issue this is a winner.

Our 21 year-old Whirpool/Philips German-made, first-gen front loader's bearings wore out. Reluctantly I step into the post-major-brand-consolidation world of shoddy appliances. After much research I reluctantly settled for this wash tower for 2 main reasons: (1) LG seems to require less repair than other brands, although they're all not reliable; (2) I needed a stacking unit, and this LG washtower is the first integrated 1-unit stacker I can find. If you are considering getting this from Best Buy, I had a very smooth delivery and installation experience. You MUST buy these FOUR REQUIRED parts at the same time as you buy this appliance when you checkout on Best Buy, and make sure your delivery staff bring them ALL into your house for the install: (1) Smart Choice - Steam Dryer Installation Kit - Stainless steel; (2) Smart Choice - Semi-Rigid Dryer Vent Kit Required for Hook-Up - Silver; (3) Smart Choice - 6' 30 Amp Dryer Power Cord Required for Hook-Up - Black; (4) Smart Choice - 6' Stainless-Steel Washing Machine Fill Hose (2-Pack). Because steam install is usually excluded for other appliances, make sure you remind them to include it, because it's MANDATORY for this appliance. This unit needs TWO power wall sockets, not one, as each of the dryer and washer connects to the power separately. The power cord (Item (3) above) is the 4 wire (not 3 wire) kind: check your power cord and wall socket before buying. If you have the 3 wire kind, call Best Buy first to confirm they bring the right cord. As for the appliance itself, as they say, "consumers buy with their eyes" - don't be tricked. Compared to my 20 year old washer, the LG's metal walls are sleek, but much thinner, so everything going on inside the washer echoes loudly. The top of the washer is unpainted thin metal (they figured nobody looks there), but old washers were never just "facade", they were solid and good-looking all around. More importantly, I am very disappointed at the long cycles, and the amount of hissing, gushing, ploshing (normal functioning). Like a Victorian piston engine. I thought new appliances would be quieter. Particularly annoying is the loud water squirting and spewing noise that resounds from the light, plasticky detergent drawer, which has some holes for aeration (and thus lets out all the internal noise). I am surprised few reviewers mentioned the noise issue. The dryer, however, is quieter than my 20 year old dryer. As the touchpad is fully electronic, I expect it will give out, and I can only hope that the part is available when it does and doesn't cost the same as a new unit - my pet peeve as an eco-conscious person. I have no use for the Wifi functionality and did not connect for digital privacy reasons. I would like LG to consider making heavier (so more sound-insulated), quieter models with fewer gimmicks, that are easy to repair, so that they do not quickly end up in landfill given our current climate disasters.

I got it installed for about a month now and so far are extremely happy. The washer/dryer looks very high end and so far does an excellent job with performance. Everything is very quiet and gets the clothes clean and dry pretty efficiently.

We love the new LG Tower. It's easy to use where the controls are and it is easy to load both the washer and dryer. They both are quite when in use.

This is a good sized quiet unit that looks sleek and runs well. Had a problem at first with the dryer cutting off before all the clothes were completely dry, but they came back out and fixed the vent issue which corrected the problem. Definitely recommend this product.

Works great. Sleek design with controls at center. Haven’t connected it to the Internet yet so I suppose there might be some new tricks or updates that will keep it running. Quiet too.

Wonderful quiet and durable. Thin and like the fact it is one unit.

Its definitely worth it. I have had for about a month now. Did not have to buy a stacking kit or anything other accessories. It is a money saver when you can buy both appliances for one price. It washes clothes well and dries them even quicker. Even delivery was quick and easy. I do have one complaint. There was small ding on rear corner of side of unit, delivery guys pointed out and we were supposed to get a discount but that never happened so just look over the appliance very well to make sure any blemishes are not on front of unit (protect your investment).

Best washer and dryer ever. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because I wish it would vent out the side. I thought when I purchased it, it said it was a 3 way vent system. The washer/dryer sticks out to far because it’s vented in the back. Causing me to lose laundry room space.

Great washer/dryer, as advertised. A lot of options, but still easy to use. Sleek design. Quiet. Note it requires a 110-volt outlet and a 220-volt outlet

Love Love Love, Very sleek and modern. Saves space and isn't difficult to put clothes in or take clothes out of. I recommended it to my sister and she also purchased one.

I have only had this unit for 5 days but have done several loads. It is SO quiet and does an amazing job. Like other reviews have said, you do need to wipe the seal around the washer door after use to get all the moisture out and also clean the seal on the dryer after use as the rubber is so thick and a very small amount of lint depending on materials being dried accumulates on the rubber seal...but a quick wipe with a paper towel or dish towel does the trick. It cleans and dries like a dream. I look forward to doing more laundry and exploring all the options.

The washer and dryer are very quiet, have not used the steam yet. We love the compactness of the unit, and the dark silver color. We chose the tech installation 1st tech was horrible brought in a dented unit (which he knew of) however did not say anything. The replacement unit was great along with the techs that installed it, just outstanding service, they restored our confidence in Best Buy as a leader in the large appliance business thank you!

Great washing machine and dryer tower. I love it! Helps me keep the dog hair off of my clothes. Very good for a small laundry room and short people.
