It's a gorgeous machine. I hope it last long enough to be worth the extra money for its style and beauty. Love the compact size and its very stable, not wobbling like my old machines and quiet. I am confused about a couple of things. 1) The dryer lint tray appears to be a design flaw and a problem. When you open the dryer door a bunch of lint falls on the floor and is ALWSAY stuck to the gasket from the interiora ll along the bottom of the gasket. Basically the lint tray has openings that hit right up against the dryer door and maybe because of the sleek flat door design they screwed up on how the lint usually STAYS in the lint trap. Very weird design flaw. Do I return a huge machine because the lint falls out and I have to wipe the dryer door gasket and vacuum after each use, if I want a clean space? ...Dunno yet 2) The washing machine wrings the cloths so well that they are completely waterless but about 1/2 the time I use the dryer my cloths are damp after a full dryer cycle. Could be user error but I use the simplest basic dryer setting and press 'play' button. Doesn't seem like I should have to know something special or do any programming to get the dryer to dry the cloths. I'm confused about that one. 3) I replaced a 10 plus year old washing machine and though this is spectacular looking it doesn't do anything more with regards to the quality of the washing compared to our old front loading washer. Maybe a washer is just a washer and I should have not hoped that somehow and new machine would make cloths cleaner. I believe that they are not getting as damaged by the wash cycle though and this machine should be more efficient etc. Overall very happy with this purchase other than the dryer gasket being covered in lint.. that also falls over the front of the machine and floor when you open the dryer door. My kids love the look so much that they want to do laundry!

We live in a condo that my parents left to us and we had their 27 year old Maytag stacked washer/dryer that worked pretty well but seemed as if it might go out anytime. Trying to find a new unit that would be as sturdy as outlet old one and fit in the confined space was not an easy task but THEN, along came the LG Wash Tower which had all the features - and then some- AND appeared to fit!! Thanks to John, the Pacific Sales - sales associate , we found out we could buy a right angle Dryer vent kit so that it vents from the right side of the unit instead of at the back which does allow it to fit in the space! We were fortunate to get it at $500 off the price! The only part we didn’t like was that the installers knew absolutely nothing about the unit and forgot to leave us the shipping bolts ( which LG recommends you install the next time you move)! We’ve had to communicate with LG directly to get the bolts shipped to us! The unit is beautiful and looks super space age! The washer is a little noisier than I’d like in the spin and drain cycles but it does a very nice job! Both washer and dryer have Steam functions ( which I’m still not really sure about using ). The unit communicates with other LG AI devices and notifies me on my Apple Watch and iPhone that it has completed its cycles which is really helpful in our 1000 sq ft condo!! Haha! The clothes come out very nicely and, most importantly, my wife is happy with it and, as a result, so am I!

What little bit that I have used it, it's done really well and is an attractive unit...what sold me on it was a Queen size comforter fits in it...the digital display is impressive but I think I personally would have liked using dials better, with the option to have more control over the dry time & heat level. I have not tried the Steam option yet. The lights inside the tub, of both, only come on at the end of the cycle for a short time...I would like to see the light stay on through the whole wash cycle and dry time. One thing was a little distrubing to me, the top of the unit didn't look like the rest of tower...they didn't cover it (picture attached to show top of unit). When washing & drying is running, it's a lot more quiet than my last set...very nice!

First unit I received was not good. The washing machine sounded like a turbo jet and it was just unbearable. Even after leveling, the unit bounced around and made so much noise. The dryer also would stop before my clothes were dry. I called BestBuy immediately and they sent out a replacement. The new unit work’s beautifully. It’s quiet and I have no issues so far. And just to clear up any confusion. The dryer DOES NOT come with a plug. Makes sense because they don’t know what kind of outlet you have. I have a 4 prong outlet and connected everything myself. The directions are right on the back of the dryer or look up a YouTube video. It’s a pretty straightforward install. Plug cost about $30 extra.

I actually really like this stacked combo unit. Plenty of pros and only a few cons. The unit firs great in my laundry room and is slim enough to allow me to put a folding table in the room with it. Its extremely quiet, I can barely hear it running unless im right next to it. Its very heavy and hard to move around, so if you get one, be prepared and have someone around to help. Most laundry rooms are not set up fpr stackable, so you should also have a plan for covering the cords and hoses

Great for space saving. Washes clean and love the dryer. One issue- need to bend down to get things out of washer.

We love this washer/dryer combo! It is efficient, quiet, and I like that you can control it from your phone and receive notifications on when your load is done. The first unit we received had some issues. The washer would shake violently during the spin cycle and the whole unit would move around. I contacted BestBuy and they had a new one here and ready to be installed within two days! We were so thankful for their customer service team and the installers that made it happen. There are a couple of reasons why I only give it 4 stars. 1.) since both the washer and dryer are electrical/smart technology you need an additional plug for the washer. Our older stacked unit didn’t have this, so we had to run a new electrical box for the washer. 2.) the cord they provide for the dryer is pretty short. In my photo you can see we had it in a pretty small space. Since the installers weren’t able to climb back, my husband had to climb back over the washer and dryer to plug it in. 3.) the installers damaged some of our walls and a light fixture in the process of moving the unit. They didn’t mention it to me before leaving. Upon contacting BestBuy/their service for installation there are a million hoops to jump through in order to get some money back for repairs and it’s just not worth the hassle. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase and would recommend this washer/dryer for anyone looking to save some space, but still have a washer/dryer with a large load capacity.

Delivered 1 month ago. Working fine but suddenly did not dispense fabric softener. Technician came 1 week ago and could not find problem but suggested using only 1 tablespoon of fabric softener. Still not working properly. Will try one more time to get fixed. If not fixed, will be calling for pick up for return. Also, top dented when delivered. Installation staff said they would report this. I would recommend this appliance if working properly.

I wanted a Stackable, but this is not a stackable. It is one complete unit. My concern with that if one part is mot working, there goes the whole unit.. AI. Wow! If you set your wash for a normal cycle, the dryer cycle is already set. Good thing. Not so sure. One feature I will not use is the wifi for remote. What is great about this unit is that it has a very large load washer and dryer Capacity. I will never again have to take my bulky comforter to the laundromat.

This washer works well. Love the features my clothes always smell and look clean. Love the LG app to connect to the wifi. I think the AI systems needs some help when it comes to drying clothes its only about 50% right and leaves clothe slightly damp sometimes so i have to add more time to the dryer

This unit is so quiet and works so quickly. No realy complaints other than the WiFi connectivity. It will not stay connected to the Wi-Fi. When it does disconnect, you have to delete it from the app and then re-add it. It’ll stay connected for 2 to 3 days and then disconnect again.

Great washer/dryer have had no issues with is performance only downside for the money we spent and after picking up once we opened the box it had a big dent at the base of the washer that would have happened prior to boxing because box was in good condition. Would have returned but we having been without a washer it would have taken too long to exchange and get a new one.

Great in size! The washer and dryer is a 2 in 1. Good size for a family of 5

Very excited to see the big deal about this unit. Love the big space which allows for less loads to wash. Still learning the functions but the app is a pretty cool information hub. Also love the fact that you use less detergent for washes. I’m hoping to see some savings.

Good overall machine, Space saver that’s the reason we got it. I had it installed in the garage. In the winter the washer won’t work because of water won’t drain due to freezing temperatures in hoses, so be mindful of that in 30 F or lower. It droves us crazy until we figured it out. So next winter we’ll make sure we wash our clothes ahead of a radical temperature drop.

Amazing and beautiful machine. Be sure to check behind all stickers before accepting delivery. It does come apart for move and install, would be great for BestBuy to offer that option.

Great set, very functional, the panel is simple and not cluttered with extra options which makes the app more diverse and easy to control on your phone with the more specific settings. Only down fall is if your laundry room has a narrow walk way set up and is more like a hall where people walk past the set, brushing up against the panel, any button causes it to light up. I’ve had to restart a load and had to start using the childlock function to keep from interfering with a cycle. Panel is not in a bad place just not great for my particular laundry room set up where everyone comes thru the garage. This is the only reason for the four stars.

So far, it’s an excellent unit and does a great job of washing and drying.

We've only had the WashTower for a month but we like it so far. Beautiful machine. I'm going to enclose it in built-ins when I've got time. The control panel in the middle is certainly a plus. Does an excellent job of washing clothes. My only miniscule complaint is that for some reason lint tends to stick around the edges of the lint trap. Not just get trapped but actually stick to the plastic edges. Doesn't feel sticky at all. Weird.

I love this washer and dryer. It’s so Sleek and low profile and it fits in small spaces perfectly with out having to sacrifice the load sizes. The nice thing is you have wayyy more options for wash and dry cycles on the app so if you’re not seeing what you’re looking for I really recommend taking that extra step (ex: delay wash can only be set in app). The only learning curve is that you really do need to hold your finger over the touch screen for three seconds to change settings on the interface. It’s where I got hung up on the most- but this ensures you don’t accidentally bump other buttons and turn them on. We are thrilled with the product.
