Great product, great customer service, great price

It is a good device to have for travel or to add an additional line to the house. but it does not provide the best quality. the sound quality is OK, Clarity OK. But you get what you pay for :)

Very cost effective. However the quality of service the product provides is not good . Every other day the phone service somehow disconnects itself from the internet. Constantly having to reset is a pain.

This product is good for the occasional calls. If you are a heavy phone user, I would suggest Vonage or Lingo instead. Can be used for faxing but expect some failed faxes, probably due to noise on the line.

This is OK service for domestic calls. You get some audio problems and static some times but works fine most of the times. It's cheaper, so works good to keep the home number active.

Convenient little device if you want to have phone service from wherever you have an internet connection. NIce in that some places that block Skype, Magic Jack can still be used.

I don't like the fact is that the phone doesn't ring unless it's open on the computer. I get the computer has to be on but to always have it up is not good

It is economical. do gives problem quite often Answering machine and recording is not very clear and difficult to operate 911 service is questionable. not reccomended

When trying to cut back on expenses there is sometimes disappointment. I miss some of the "perks" I had with my AT & T service. Also having to dial an area code for local calls is a pain.

It's good in a pinch if there is no other phone around. Works best if direct hookup to internet. But if using the App on cell phone doesn't always get clear hookup.

Changed unit due to big problems in reception...Others were complaining. This upgraded new device only eliminated about 1/2 of the noise.

The time is always stuck in EST. Call quality is terrible for some international countries. Would recommend if one can bear with these issues because of the price.

I hooked it up. And ever since I did I've been losing my calls. Nothing but problems

The device would only work when plugged into my laptop. That means I would have to leave my laptop on and I don't want to do that. It refused to work when plugged into my Uverse router. Returned it the next day and bought Ooma. Ooma was up and running in 5 minutes.

not so great for fax service, I can only fax two pages at a time before the fax machine errors out

This is an amazing product! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking. Quality is great.

I wanted to port my landline number but kept getting roadblocks from the site and personnel at magicjack. They explained the issue as having to do that my landline was part of a bundle and as a result, the porting will not be possible. Then I asked to get a local number connected and they currently do not 'service' my area code. Good concept of an item, however did not work for me. I returned the product successfully.

This is good and it works, but you don't have many options once you get it. Check it out and do your research first.

Did a lot of research before buying this and thought I had made the right decision. Using on a Verizon fios network with 50/50 speed (very fast) and have tried plugging the device directly into the router and into the usb on my laptop, both are equally bad. Call volume (volume all the way up on the phone) and quality are so poor it's unusable. Went and bought Ooma device and it works great set up the same way as the magic jack.
