The call quality is poor when you are using the device on mobile phone apps. I have faced many issues of call drooping and no clarity on calls. Magic-jack should improve the call quality.

Was hard to install but once I got it up and running was ok.

I couldn't connect to Magic Jack because Comcast wouldn't port my phone to a digital service. This is less about Magic Jack, but services that do not port phone numbers from land to digital will have this issue.

I ended up having to return mine. I couldnt port in my number, had issues evening setting it up and had to call their customer service. For me it wasnt worth all the extras id have to add on

My experience is that after unit was working it suddenly fails in calling certain area codes. For example, a call to 919 area codes rings the other end’s phone (Sprint cell phones), but apparently MagicJack detects a signal that causes the call to hang up at the other end while MagicJack holds the line off-hook. Calls to non 919 area codes works. The situation is unresolved after cslls to MagicJack helpcenter. It is unrealiable when an elderly parent uregently tries to reach you, but unable.

But the problem is my number was Magic Jack company gives my number all the telephone solicitors and I get call 5 times a day every day Not a good system

Magic Jack cannot port our number at this time. Magic Jack said to return to store within 30 days for a full refund. Got to Best Buy only to be told no refund because 15 days had past so we are just out of about $70.

I bought this item and I realized the quality of international talk is very poor. It's hard to hear. The customer service is the worst!!! They don't have a telephone number for live customer service and need to ask any questions through their chat mode. You will need to wait for at least 20 mins to get to a chat person!! Overall am not satisfied! Am thinking of canceling my service.

Caller ID does not work! Have tried all of the fixes.

Nothing happens to porting your number unless Majic Jack has the account number of your previous provider. These instructions get muted in the process if a Geek Squad agent does the installation and does not thoroughly inform you of what needs to be done by you to complete the process. I waited 6 weeks.before discovering what the problem was. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks hopefully for the port to be finally completed.

It's ok. Not as good as a regular landline. Customer support, what there is of it, stinks.

VERY DISAPOINTED WITH THE MAJIC JACK. WHEN SPEAKING TO BEST BUY ASSOCIATE THE SAID THERE WAS A SMALL CHARGE TO KEEP MY CURRENT PHONE NUMBER. WHEN CALLING TO SET UP THE ACCOUNT WITH MAGIC JACK IT WAS $40.00 JUST TO TRANSFER NUMBER AND ANOTHER $140.00 TO HAVE IT FOR 5 YEARS, AND 190.00 TO KEEP IT FOR A LIFE TIME OF THE NUMBER. DECIDED NOT TO KEEP IT AND TRIED TO TAKE IT BACK, AND SINCE I DIDNT HAVE MY RECIEPT BEST BUY WOULD NOT RETURN OR GIVE ME CREDIT FOR IT.

Product will not work with satellite internet. No indication of this on box

No 800 number to call- its all outsourced. Paid for an existing number to port and it doesnt work.

this product is a potential money saver, IF, you can get it to work consistently….I have given up trying.
