Took many calls to get my number ported. In the meantime my call went to a recording saying the number was disconnected

it is very easy to set up but but anything beyond basic setup and you will have issues getting clear answers from customer support

Call quality is poor and bad customer support. Google Voice with OBiHAI is a better option.

This product I would never buy again I had to pay for 911 calls also you have to register your credit card for long distance call which is suppose to be free

Be warned. After you pay for extra years of service and are committed to them, if the device breaks they will charge you $13.95 for a replacement plus a $1.09 admin fee. Total cost to replace a broken unit that is under warranty $15.04. Cost of new item that includes $35 worth of service is $35. My device broke after only 2 months.

ONe cannot use magicjack on all U.S numbers. Voice quality was pretty bad too

so... idk, i don't normally tell people to buy stuff, however, 10 or 11 years ago my grandma bought me a MagicJack when they first came out, and it's probably one of the few things that i tell people about and fully stand behind, i've never had a problem with it, and after 5... or 6 states, DOZENS of moves and four different cell carriers, i still have the same phone number - i love the new ones because the first ones needed you to have your computer on 24/7 for them to work, the new one just plugs in the router so it's less of a hassle if you need or want a home phone go with them, its like $40 to buy the device and it comes with ONE YEAR of free service - and you can use the app on your phone, so if you're as cheep as i am you can use WIFI to make calls... no cell phone bill technical note - i have had good results with connection 3 to 4 phones to these, you can connect it to your house wiring so you are not tied to where your router is, but you MUST MAKE SURE THE PHONE COMPANY LINE IS DISCONNECTED FROM YOUR SERVICE PANEL FIRST - IT WILL DAMAGE THE DEVICE IF NOT - i used a telephone jack split-er so all the phones still work where they were with my original house wiring ALSO NOTE - the device works over the internet, if your internet service is interrupted you will not have phone service until it is restored, this is the same as any other VOIP phone solution - the device may or may not work on satellite internet, i have heard mixed reviews

cheap product and it shows all phone calls brake up and nobody can hear you. very poor quality i thought i would give them another chance after 5 years nothing has improved. they have a way to improve before you can use this problem at the quality i would like.

Title might sound cliche but it was truly fast and easy. Just plugged it in to power, the router and then the phone, went to the computer and opened the website as listed in the instructions, the device was already recognized, completed registration and phone was working in less than 5 mins. Sound quality is great - no lag. I even had to call support - they were quick and responsive - turns out the problem was just me switching numbers around when I tried to call the new number. We haven't had a home phone number for years but this now makes it a very low cost option to having it bundled into our existing ISP plan.

i even paid extra for a specific phone number. the customer service is awful. Every time i called, i was required to put in a trouble ticket and wait 2 weeks for a response. i never got one. i have not been able to receive incoming calls since November. ultimately i went back to att.

I could not get a local phone number. The only phone numbers available would cause anyone calling me to call long distance even if they were in the same city as me. I returned it. It probably is ok in some areas but not in the UP of Michigan,

I asked majic jack if they would help me with my bill because of hardships due to covid. They wont provide help of any kind. I no longer have phone service.

I been use this service 4 years,every year before expire I will buy another and activate let them combine ,but this year they told me change policy so I lost 2 weeks ,try many time let them help but same answer,next year I will change say good-by magic jack
