Same as ooma in my opinion better but most importantly cheaper 35 plus 10 for taxes 45 for the year can't beat it and with features not offered from ooma the cell phone app is an awesome add on.

$59 for one year of service for the first year is awesome. Quality of line is very good. highly recommended service to maintain a form of landline and not go totally cell. Only con I know is that its useless with no power where a wired landline phone is still useful, but that's about it.

Magic Jack works great and it's fraction of the cost phone companies charge for same service. It's very easy to install and manage account settings as all can be done online. The phone connection itself it's clear. I absolutely love the fact that you have an option to select your phone number.

I had the Magic plus for 4 years now and decided to change it out for the Magic Jack Go. Just received the product and easy hookup. Great call quality. Very competitive price, I checked around!

This does the job of proving a home phone other than a cell. Take note that if you want to access a conference call you'll need to purchase more access at Magic Jack. We were not aware of this when we purchased it.

I just saved a bunch of money by canceling my landline and using magic jack. The signal is just as clear as the landline and for so much less money!! Highly recommended!

This is my second MagicJack. I use them in two different business locations and they work quite well. While there is an occasional graininess on the line, for someone who doesn't use the telephone much but needs to have one, this is the perfect solution.

great phone and good service, for the price I paid

I've been searching for a home phone alternative for quite some time and always heard about MagicJack. Recently my home Uverse price rate skyrocketed and I knew I needed to make the leap to an alternative solution. My husband bought the MagicJack and we are now saving $50 per month! Now mind you, we never even use our home phone because of cell phones so this savings is huge! It was so easy to install, we still are able to use the voice messaging system and phone calls are nice and clear! Why didn't switch earlier and start saving is beyond me, but I'm glad we switched now.

Good cheap way to have a house land phone and includes one free year of service. Everything just plugs right into your computer or laptop and you are good to go.

This system works well for me. I needed another phone line to conduct business with. My cell phone seems to have some dead areas or times when it just becomes echo-y. Therefore, another option was needed. I have not had any issues with this and I have not had the voice quality issues that I was getting when I tried to use my cell phone from my home office. Super easy to set up and I was able to even get a phone number close to that of my cell which makes it easy to remember.

This product is used to make free calls to Canada and it works well most of the time, though, sometimes the connection is experiencing problems.

The Magic Jack has worked great - ported our old number when we moved and it has worked seamlessly. The cost is a fraction of what we were paying and it has caller ID which helps immensely at filtering out all those annoying telemarketing calls

We were paying a high phone bill for decades for our landline. The last few years we weren't even using it. We used our cellphones. I finally cut it off anf bought this Magic Jack to plug in to my cable system. It works great! By the way the cable company wanted an Xtra $26 a month for their phone line!!!!!! I said no and bought the magic Jack instead. Free every month except for the initial purchase price. You can also use your old land line number if you want!!!!!

This is my 4th MagicJack product, but the - MagicJack - GO VoIP Adapter is the best generation yet. The firm's 1st product, introduced in 2007, and I have been a customer for 11 years. The magicJack 2007, magicJack Plus 2014, magicJackGO and magicJackExpress 2014 devices. These are USB devices that have both the software necessary to place Internet-based telephone calls via a customer-supplied high-speed Internet connection and the electronics which allow conventional landline telephones to be plugged directly into your computer or Laptop devices. I've been using this product for many years and a few years ago I upgraded to MagicJackGo and got the kind that is connected to the modem and always works with or without your PC being on. You get unlimited phone use, and you can download the app so you can make calls for about $35 a year with voicemail, etc. Most people may leave negative reviews so I tried to think of something I am very happy with and share my review.

Replaced an older model I had. This one can be used with an included very small ac adapter so you do not have to have your computer turned on as you are not powering the Magic-Jack thru USB on the computer.

The MagicJack installed and set up in minutes. If you are looking for the lowest cost VOIP solution, it does not get any better than $59.99 the first year and $35 for each year thereafter. It fits easily in the palm of your hand, about he size of 2 USB drives taped together, so it goes wherever you go. Works on stand alone phone when plugged into router, PC when plugged into USB, iPAD and iPhone through wireless connection via either router or through PC wireless. Call quality is excellent if you have a quality internet connection.
