Works good, easy to set up. I don't use a house phone much so this was a good choice to have as a backup and for the kids to use. Can't beat the price

I'm sooooo happy with this. I wish I had done it sooner. I don't need a land line. But sometimes I need to fax something out. Plus I wanted to keep my land line number since I've had it since 1976 (yah I'm old). I had to pay a little extra to keep it thru Magic Jack, but that was my choice. Do the math, your monthly land line thru the phone company and the once a year fee of Magic Jack. If you already have internet, just get this too for your phone. Oh, and it has a feature also for your cell, but I don't use it.

I bought this to replace my old magicJack it works like a charm and it's smaller more Sleek design. I used magicJack tech support chat to set up but it didn't take long at all and I was all set .So far I have no problems with it.

I purchased magicjack go after a friend's recommendation eho cut the cird on his cable and wanted to keep his home phone number. It has been great . Easy to set up to my existing 3 portable phones, great voice mail with email notices, can use my cell phone to make wifi phone calls through magicjack, and I have used it to send faxes. All this for S34.99 for one year of service. The only negatives are voice quality and $19.99 to transfer home #.

Only had my magic jack a couple of weeks but am pleased with it. Installation was super simple. I'm a little disappointed in the caller ID feature - only gives the number- but for my home phone and its purpose it's ok

This is the best phone service for a many of reasons. The device itself is very affordable, it plugs directly to your router, you can take it everywhere with you, the sound quality could not be better, the features like voice mail, caller ID, paid long distance to foreign countries, etc. are great, and you get to listen to your voice mails as an attached email, besides the fact that it costs about $30 a year for the service. I love my MJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you port your original number over to magic Jack don't stop your current provider until magic jack emails you that it is ok and the porting process is finished.

I have a MagicJack for my desk phones at work, and another one at home so that I can recieve calls in my home office. MagicJack also lets me have an app on my smartphone, so that I can be reached when travelling. Quality of sound is generally good, but reliant on internet connectivity and speed, Although, these days, most phones are subject to the same quality caveats anyway. As they say: "its good enough...".

The MagicJack Go is an excellent product for those wishing to maintain a landline at home. Great yearly rates and you get to call the entire USA plus Canada. Big plus is being able to use it on your cel phone.

The reasons for my 3 star rating are: 1) I've tried every possible solution to increase the sound volume...I think. 2) MJ does not provide a comprehensive guide for set-up directly to the internet. For example, MJ "chat support" doesn't recommend plugging MJ into a power strip. Then. after reading otherwise, support told me I can't use a gig switch but need a router (Comcast modem has one Ethernet port). It's easy to sell something....but then you need to deliver what you sell.

We bought this device for the convenience of making calls internationally, from Europe to the US. It works very well with voicemail and all of the usual phone facilities. Cheaper than comparable methods ... we got rid of our home phone and replaced it with MJ at a cost of about $50 for two years with no further charges.... much much cheaper than Verizon.

This product was easy to install and the quality is very clear. Not only does this product work well, but it will save me hundreds of dollars in unnecessary phone bills. I waited too long to make this switch, but I will never go back to land line!

Tried MagicJack many years ago and it was horrid. Home line is used infrequently and decided on trying again for savings. So far, service seems much improved. No issues with call completion or quality. Haven't sent faxes but received some without issue. Mobile app is convenient for receiving and making calls, displays the home number, and helps protect the privacy of my mobile number without the need for blocking the called ID.

Had a few issues initially while I transitioned from Comcast to MagicJack but those were due entirely to the cable company constantly resetting my modem. Once I managed to get that straightened out with their customer service department things have been going quite well. I work from home and spend hours at a time on conference calls and without fail the Magic Jack has performed as good if not better than the old Comcast VOIP phone. I do wish I could stop the call waiting feature though.
