I've owned a MagicJack for ten plus years. I started out with the original product that plugged into a USB port. The only drawback with the original was that your computer had to stay on in order to make or receive calls. No big deal for me because I never turn off my desktop. Almost two years ago I bought this product, the MagicJack-Go. Unlike the original the Go can be plugged into your router eliminating the need to keep your computer turned on. Over the years I’ve had a couple of very minor glitches, the biggest of which was a problem installing on Windows 10 when it was first released. A quick chat with MagicJack resolved that issue in about fifteen minutes. Bottom line, I wouldn’t be without a MagicJack. It’s a fantastic product.

Why pay for traditional phone service when u can get unlimited calls for $30/yr

The most affordable way to have a "Landline". Easy to use, if you have a senior at home its great for them if they don't like using cellphones. it also come a app in case you want to use it on your cell phone

So for a years worth of service from magic jack is the cost of a one month bill from att. That was a no brainer. I had to try it out. Have had it for about a week now and so far no complaints. No different from my service with att. VM, call waiting, clear calls.

Been with Magicjack since it's inception, sound quality has improved just like any product. Now enhanced with text message with it's magicjack app, perfect for my handed down cell for my son's 1st. cell. Used this when I went on vacation out of country.

We've moved to a newly developed home. Our cell phone reception is not well. The solution for us is the use of the land line or internet phone. Very happy with Magic Jack, great communication at a low cost.

This is a great alternative for a phone service. You cant beat the price and you get the same identical service as you would with your local phone or cable company.

Very easy to set up. I did it over my laptop rather than try it on my smart phone. Managed to choose my own number which is nice. Depending on your state, you may have additional costs. For example I had to pay $10 for emergency services set up.

Phone service, so far so good. However, you aren't told about additional fees until you are setting up the product. You expect your bill to be the amount advertised, but you are hit with additional fees and charges.

I have started using my phone magic jack. I recommend it.

Excellent things to use to make long distance call

I bought this magic jack so my land line would be cheaper. This is a no frills jack to plug into your server and then you call them and you get a new land line number. It saves a lot of money if you are on a fixed income.

Works great with my wifi, it serves the purpose of what I needed for it which is just for emergency phone calls the service is good the voice is clear and you could hear well

As long as you have steady internet, you can hook up a regular phone (we use multiple set cordless so can use in any room). The quality is usually on par with landline, and you can't beat the cost. We can use it wherever we travel which is an added bonus.

Works like it should. If you want to save money and keep your home phone then go for it.

This is the perfect solution for cheap home phone service. Cellular should hopefully someday take this idea on of cheap, flat rate service.
