MagicJack continues to upgrade their voice quality and their free app works well for traveling. The only negative would be the need for good quality internet service for reliable calls.

A bit of a pain to load up. If I didn't have a laptop or desktop available it would not automatically download the updates. The information was incorrect when working with windows 7.

out of the package my system would not recognize the product. Called in for support and downloaded several updates to the magicjack that were required. Still having several "dropped" calls with connection on the network. Overall good for the price.

We have this for a couple years now replacing our old landline. Surprising good only an occasional issue that may require a router reboot but that is rare. Nice, low cost option.

Replaced my land line with the MagicJack. Works like a charm. Have had no problems what so ever. I am saving about $70.00 plus a month with not having a land line.

Great alternative to skype or whatsapp to do international calls. I sent one to my mother in Venezuela and I talk to her on a weekly basis without any call drops or issues of cell phone service

Bought this one as a replacement since the first one broke after over 5 years. My parents live outside the U.S. and they've been calling the U.S for free for over 5 years. It just works.

Easy to install. Hard to hear on the handset we are using. Not sure why. Also have had it disconnect and didn't know it. Mostly just used as a back up to our cell phones.

I have been using this for over a year and it works perfectly. I wish I had switched to MagicJack sooner. Saving a ton of $$$. No big Frontier bills anymore.

This device is an affordable way to have a home phone. I wish Call Waiting Caller ID was an option though. It only has standard Caller ID and standard Call Waiting.

It can be a little tricky to set up because you have to plug it into the wireless router (our router is up high so it's not easy to connect a phone to in our house) or you can plug it into your computer which is what we did. We plugged it into our desktop. You should watch YouTube videos before you buy. It works fine as long as the computer is up and running and the wifi is working. We paid $20 to port our current home number. I think we also had to pay a small fee for the 911 service. Still cheaper that what we paying before to AT&T. I do love that it emails me the voicemails.

I have been using these for years state side and overseas! They work great and save you a lot of money and give you a solid land line in your house!!!
