The Magic Jack resolved a problem I had after giving up my landline and going totally wireless. Ran into a snag with that when I changed cell providers and felt lost without a phone at all. For about $65 for the first year, Magic Jack is easy to use, connections are clear, and don't have to think about minutes, etc... The only drawback is the device base has to be relatively close to the plug-in connection, so not as portable as I imagined.

with voice quality the same as our former Comcast VoIP service and better features. What took us so long...?

Installation and activation were very quick and simple. Ported my landline number over without issue.

Magic Jack is great. Service is inexpensive and easy to set up. I use it strictly for my fax and am very happy with it.

Still trying to get this product to work. So far it only works with plugging in to the Router directly.

I am truly disappointed with the Magic Jack phone service. When I first purchase the device, I had to paid a $10 fee transfer to the phone number from Time Warner, and $11.75 fee for 911 call service. Then, I find out that I cannot transfer the phone number because I deactivated the phone service from Time Warner. So, I had to paid another $10 fee to change the phone number. After changing the phone number, the phone still didn't work. Magic Jack had very poor customer service, I spend a long time waiting on hold, and the representative I talked is a Indian person from India. The rep told me that the device is defective, and recommend me to return it to the Best Buy store for refund, and order a new one on the phone, and it will be shipped in a few days. I did what the sale rep told me to do and when I got the new device from the mail, the phone service still did not work. I called customer service, and I spend a long time on hold. The sales rep couldn't help me and I got no results. I got so aggravate, I decided to cancel the service and request a refund. I spoke to the customer service rep about it. She told me that they will refund the device, and but they will not refund the other fees that I had paid for. This aggravation cause me nothing hardship and headaches. DO NOT BUY this product, its not worth it. It's better off using a cellphone.

I got the Magic Jack to replace my home phone and it has been just as good as my previous landline

It is easy to connect to the internet. I love how inexpensive it is and I can communicate with my children

Great for a person who needs a land line. The extra are great without having to spen extra.

Cheapest landline phone. No other can beat the price. Has no technical issue and works perfectly.
