Once you finally get the MagicJack setup, it works great. But the process of setting up is horrible. I created an account, activated my MagicJack, assigned a Credit Card to my account and was assigned a local phone number. Seems like that should be enough to activate the MagicJack; however, it would not work. Called customer support and they stated I had to register my MagicJack. Seems like Registering should occur during the Activation process. So I attempted to "Register" the product. Only issue is, there is no place to register from the MagicJack program. I called customer support again and they must have changed something on their end because after the call the MagicJack finally started working. MagicJack has been around long enough to make the setup process easier for users.

Both items work well and were easy to install and activate.

This product is easy to install and way cheaper than the regular landline.

It's a "No Brain-er." If you have high speed internet, this is the cheapest way to get a land line. Instead of paying for a monthly land line, divide 12 (months) into your purchase amount of MagicJack. That works out to under $4 a month for unlimited calling, and no long distance for US & Canada. Perfect for me, since cell signals in my area are spotty.

My husband hooked up the MagicJack. It was very simple as long as your router has a phone Jack. As far as the quality of service, it's a little difficult to hear the other person at times. But considering that our cell phone service at our home is horrible, MagicJack is definitely worth the price.

If u want to get rid of expensive phone service this is a great cheap option.
