We got this for my Dad to replace his expensive land line with VOIP. It was super easy to set up, we ported his land line number over so his phone number did not change, and he is extremely happy with the service. It works well even on a fairly slow DSL connection. One year's worth of service is approx. as much as one month for local only AT&T service. Our only issue was AT&T since we had to decouple Dad's DSL and voice service before porting the number to Magic Jack and that took a few phone calls to accomplish.

MagicJack was relatively easy to set-up and has worked as expected. Phone number transfer from my previous overpriced VOIP service (Vonage) was simple and quick. Well worth the change.

The magic jack is a great device crystal clear call quality. Just be aware of your plan to use calling cards most of them are blocked due to the international plans that magic jack wants you to buy that end up costing more unless you buy a magic jack for the person overseas you want to talk to.

I am retired. I try to reduce expenses when possible. Our home phone, which we do not use a lot, has been under AT&T. They constantly raise prices and could care less if you are retired. I finally found MagicJack as a valid option to replace AT&T. It is much less expensive and works just as well.

Purchased to replace our seldom used land line (everyone has cell phones). Worked right out of the box. Pulled into PC to configure it (not required), and then into the internet router with a brand new number. Have had it up and working since with no issues what so ever. As a backup to our cells and just general use if needed its great!

Inexpensive option for telephone and easy to set-up. Had a brief issue with dropped calls at first, but called company for help and they recommended changing cable to phone from fob, seemed to correct the problem. The bad cable came with the unit, but apparently was flawed. The answering system it good, it can send you an email notice for messages while you are away. Good value for a land line if you need a backup for your cell.

Easy set up. Only minor issue was after buying and setting up, I received an email stating that I owed $7 and change for 911 service, due to my "emergency communication district" required it. Not a problem, but wasn't expecting it nor did I read it anywhere.

I wish I would have bought this sooner it would have saved me so much money!! The magic jack works just like a landline you get from Brighthouse or any cable company. Easy to install you pay 1 set price for the year and you are done! You just have to have internet service. Love my magic jack!

I cannot say enough good things about the Magic Jack! It is easy to install the price is exceptional and sound quality the same or superior to the phone companies!

Phone service seems same as ATT, the one difference I don't care for is no caller ID for call waiting. The call waiting is two very long beeps. If you are in a conversation you will miss whatever is being said.

I bought this item for my friend as he was leaving to Australia. He was able to port his US based number to magic jack and use it in Australia. Works great for the price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would need to work remotely outside USA/Canada.

The product works great, good call quality, easy to set up and is as good as advertised. However, porting an existing land line number to Magic Jack was frustrating. Magic Jack customer service was polite and courteous but didn't want to take accountability for the process and just wanted to blame the land line carrier. It took over a week to iron out all the problems and required a lot of time.

I have been using this product for calling while overseas, it is an excellent option for saving a lot of money on International Calls while you are away from USA, App also work good depending on the Internet availability at the mobile.

Can't beat the price. Was easy to hook up. Only problem I had was when I setup my account I was using special characters for my password. Would not work. Do not use special characters in Password.

A good value for anyone wishing to switch to VOIP. Overall, unit works well and voice quality is satisfactory.Tech support from manufacturer via on line chat only. Note..do not cancel the contract with your land line provider until Magic Jack is up and running.

I am still thinking where is the catch. The many money saving features that this device offers is ridiculously great. The savings when calling all over the country and internationally is hundreds if not thousands of dollars yearly. Great product for an unbelievable price. Also the voicemail message through emails is another great plus. can't stop talking about this magic jack. Whoever invented this is a genius and must not be like by the big telephone companies.

Magic Jack was very easy to install. Virtually minutes and I was able to keep my old phone number. No more monthly bills and free long distance. Very good value.

Does what it says. Calls are clear. If u need tech support, it will be thru online chat only. Their toll free Phone # is for sales and general questions only.

Its a great money saver. Installation is easy, athought u may need to use your computer to activate the device. I have yet to experience a problem. I get my voice message thru email.

Save money each month by having just having this product. Have been using it for years and I have no complaints. I have family overseas that uses magic jack in an app and are able to call me at no cost to them. Love it.
