The screen seems to go blurry as you move your head. You have to recenter the screen constantly. And the lenses adjust but not enough to make up for the fact that letters get blurry. It’s also rather warm looking into this for a long time.

I’ve had the Quest 3s for a bit now, and it honestly blew me away. The setup was quick, the tracking is super smooth, and the graphics are way clearer than I expected. The mixed reality features are really cool being able to see my surroundings while playing makes everything feel more immersive and safe. The headset feels lighter and more comfortable compared to older models too. If you’re into gaming or just want to explore VR, this is definitely one of the best all around options right now. Battery life could be a bit longer, but overall, it’s a great buy.

After spending serious time with the Meta Quest 3S, I can honestly say it's one of the best bang-for-your-buck headsets on the market right now. For $299 to $399, you're getting next-gen performance, full-color passthrough, access to the entire Quest ecosystem, and solid tracking—all in a wireless, standalone package. Yes, it cuts a few corners to keep the price low-mainly the use of Fresnel lenses instead of pancake optics, and a basic strap system-but none of these compromises are dealbreakers. The visuals are still sharp, the performance is buttery smooth, and the overall experience feels way more premium than its price suggests. If you're new to VR, upgrading from a Quest 2, or just looking for a powerful mixed-reality headset without spending $500+, the Quest 3S is a no-brainer. It brings most of the Quest 3's core strengths—like the XR2 Gen 2 chip, great hand and controller tracking, and access to next-gen games-at a significantly lower cost. For me, it strikes the perfect balance between affordability, performance, and immersion. Sure, if you want the absolute best visuals, the Quest 3 is still king-but the Quest 3S is incredibly close, and for hundreds less.

I was hesitant to buy a VR headset because im not a gamer but it was still worth it. I bought it mainly for streaming movies and sports. The image quality is amazing(1080p) and you can size the screen to as big as you want. They also have theater mode which allows you to curve the screen. You can have multiple app or browser windows running at once which is pretty cool. I use the MLB, YouTube and Amazon Prime apps. For everything else i log in via their web browser. The only downsides for me is the older lens which sometimes appear cloudy and show rings and thr battery life.

I’m really impressed with how smooth and clear everything looks. The setup was fast, the controls feel natural, and the comfort level is great even after long sessions. Definitely worth the price—feels like next-gen gaming at home. Highly recommend!

Good entry-level headset with just OK specs. Battery life was ok, and so were graphics and resolution. Got a few dead pixels within a few days of owning it, but thankfully, it was still covered under warranty. If you are someone who doesn't mind lower resolution and FOV, then this is perfect for you.

I’ve had this headset for a month and I’m really enjoying it. I will say the battery life isn’t that great but it’s enough to last a good gaming session. This headset is good for both beginners and returning players.

I wasn't sure if I needed this since my Quest 2 was working fine, but my son really wanted to play the new Batman game so I caved. Honestly? I'm actually impressed. Setting it up was super easy, took maybe 10 mins. The biggest difference right away is the cameras on the front. On my old one, looking around the room was all black and white and fuzzy. On this one, it’s in color. It’s not like 4K TV clear, but I can actually look at my phone or find my water bottle without taking the headset off which is huge. Games definitely run smoother. We played Batman and Gorilla Tag and it just feels faster, no stuttering. The visuals are crisp enough for me. I know people talk about the lenses being "old tech" or whatever, but unless you are a VR nerd, you probably won't notice. It looks great to me. My only gripe is the head strap. It’s pretty flimsy. After about an hour of playing, my face starts to hurt a bit. definitely planning to buy a better strap soon. Also, the battery drains kinda fast if you are playing intense games, so maybe get a battery pack if you play for long sessions. Overall though, for $300? It's a no brainer. way cheaper than the pro models and does everything I need it to do. I really like it overall! My only complaint is that I wish the battery life were better. Since it's still new to me, I sometimes feel a bit nauseous during certain movements—like flying or jumping off something—but that's probably just an adjustment period. Other than that, it's a really cool experience!

I love it, i don't use it for an extended period, therefore i dont worry about the battery life. But if you have the money i would recommend getting the quest 3 because of the pancake lenses, the current lenses on the quest 3s can make it seem blurry if you dont position it right in the center.

We’ve owned three Quest VR headsets over the years, and every single one of them eventually had tracking issues, this one included. However, this one lost tracking and thought it was in motion in a vehicle which was a new one. Having the protection plan gives you peace of mind. What makes it even better is how convenient it is to work with the Geek Squad. When something goes wrong, you can just walk in and they swap it out quickly with no hassle. It really makes the whole process stress-free. Overall, Best Buy has always taken care of us, and this purchase was no different. Great service, great products, and definitely worth getting the extra coverage.
