    Bought this for my son on February, had to send it in for repair on July. Microsoft ended up replacing the item for free. Geek Squad wanted to charge me over 100 dollars. That being said its an internet machine, not fun to use at all, cant really run games etc. So its a cheap tablet with some ok features, wouldn't recommend. Spend an extra couple of bucks and get the upgraded versions.

    Not worth the purchase price

    Replaced a 2014 Surface Pro (which I truly preferred over the iPad) with this product, as I only used it for streaming. Facial recognition works perhaps every third time; for some reason opening "settings" closes running apps, will disconnect from the internet for no apparent reason...the list of gripes goes on and on. Unbelievably frustrating going from the older model to this new model. I understand I went for a cheaper option, but I am not asking very much of this piece of technology. It has gotten to the point where I'd rather through it against a rock for the satisfaction of watching it shatter than get my money back. The battery life is not terrible.

    I got this as a gift but the battery goes out fast even if your not using it. You must use the Microsoft store which doesn't have most of the Google or Apple apps. In my option it's best to get an iPad or a Samsung tablet and don't waste your money.

      Surface Go also comes standard with Windows 10 in S mode, which is a security feature that only allows you to use apps from the Microsoft Store. If you would like to use additional apps that aren't in the Microsoft Store you will need to switch your Surface Go out of S mode, which you can learn how to do here: https://aka.ms/AA4rbqo.

    BROUGH TWO FOR CHIRSTMAS GIFTS, ONE IS ALREADY LOCKED OUT, CAN'T SEEM TO FIX. WHEN I ORDER THESE ITEMS, I WAS EXPECTING THE KEY BOARD TO COME WITH THEM. THIS IS MY SECOND BIG ORDER OF SURFACES, AND IT DID NOT COME OUT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST. SORRY NOT HAPPY BEST BUY.

    Having used iPads and Android devices, the surface go doesn't provide the greatest tablet experience. I ended up having to go back and get the keyboard and trackpad to be able to use it. Money is better spent buying a cheap laptop or other tablet.

    this surface model is not for anyone, my reasons are as follows 1. not enough RAM 2. not enough Hard Drive Space 3. right out of the box you have to upgrade to new Windows version

    Again, i's nice having a laptop I can take around with me. This one, however, is just not doing it for me. It's incredibly slow both on and off a network. Everything works fine just veeery slow.

    It is really slow and mine had to be replaced within a month that I bought it. It had to do with the computer itself so I got another one but it’s a mess. I would consider buying a more common laptop like dell or Apple

    What a nightmare!

    This was a huge nightmare! Screens freezing. Locked login page, unable to get in. 4 crashes trying to play a video. PC had to be factory reset twice. I began to question my IT ability. I've had MANY electronics over the years. Never this picky! I was excited to buy this...MORE excited to return it!!! I do NOT recommend

    Look at the picture above. See the keyboard travel sleeve? That's the way they show it in the store also. But the product doesn't come with that and it adds about 50% more to the price. Went back right away.

    Purchased a Microsoft Surface Go. When it linked to my Samsung S7 my phone went haywire. All the apps were jumbled up and now my phone is super slow. I called Microsoft and they said it was a Samsung problem. I am returning the Surface after spending hours trying to rectify the problem. It's 2018 and I can't understand why these companies can't get their products 100% working with no glitches, yet put them out to market. Then the customer looses hours on customer service calls trying to get the product to work. Not me, no more support from me Mr. Gates, I'll have my money back.

    I immediately gave this away after using it for a few days. It’s good for taking notes but that’s about it. Battery barely held through 4 hour lectures

    Worked one time. Went through the time and pain to get it set up. Parked it and a few days later it would not start. Geek Squad could not start it either. Best part was the full refund, can't replace the time invested.

    Has given me problems since the get go. Doesn't let me to download antivirus, less than 20 days after buying it is already giving me messages of low disk space. And so many more issues.

    Very Very Slow

    Extremely Slow machine. There is not much to do with this tablet since the processor is supremely under powered for any day to day browsing tasks. In comparison, an older iPad performed a lot better for half the price. Would not recommend.
