Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to replace my laptop and searched quite a while for a new one and contemplated if I should get the Surface Pro or a different one. I strictly use the tablet for school work and I never take it anywhere. Memory wise is it fine because I do not use it to hold my photos or videos or anything personal. If I were to hold them then this would not be enough. To get the tablet set up was quite easy. There is a tablet rest you can open in the back but other than that when you are sitting somewhere else it is a pain cause there isn't anything to hold on the tablet.

I really wanted to like it, BUT...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ugh, I was so excited to get this after being steered toward this by the people at Best Buy. I was looking to get something small, lightweight, has a touchscreen, but has Intel Core i5 or i7 with at least 128GB SSD, I was really left with few options and this seemed like the best one. I love how small and compact it is, it is SUPPOSED to be the BEST small touch screen laptop. I've had it for a total of four days. The day I got it home, it worked perfectly. However. the next day, any time I disconnected the charger, the thing shuts off completely! I was told by Geek Squad to update the software, so I did. It worked for a few hours, but then I noticed I had ANOTHER update to do. So, I did that update and restarted. It seemed to work for a few days, until today. Turns out there was ANOTHER update, which I did and restarted. Once it did that, it said I had yet ANOTHER update. NONE of these updates have fixed the problem as Geek Squad said it would. What kind of laptop has updates every few hours? That's asinine. And then, for being something that is supposedly top-of-the-line, it has been nothing but problems and headaches. I wanted something simple for my new job, but no. I'm so upset, I feel duped, and honestly, a bit betrayed. I REALLY wanted to like this - I really did. I tried the updates many times, but to no avail - it just isn't working. Save yourself the at least $1200 and get something else because clearly these products are defective and Geek Squad is useless at helping.

In love, till charging port became an A-hole
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved this device, UNTIL. Until it stopped charging. I thought the charger was the issue, so bought a new one, and it still does not work. Looking online, I guess this is device is a repeat offender for having a port/magnet charger set up that fails. And when if fails, you are screwed. Just talked to a repair person and they said it could be more than a week for them to tell me that they "MIGHT" be able to fix it. Ready to trash the device. Every once in a while, I my stars will align and the charger connects... but have wasted hours of my life in the past couple of weeks trying to make that happen. A darn shame because I really liked this thing.

battery stinks

Quit Working After 3 Months!!

I have been on the phone (or on hold) with Microsoft support for over 3 hours, purchased an external hard, and a large USB storage device to try to fix this computer. This is the most expensive laptop I have ever purchased and BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had with any computer.

Way overpriced

All i need it for is school, internet, and amazon and when I absolutely need it, it freezes. If you are on the fence about buying. do not pick this computer. It will fail you when you need it.

Overhears, random shut off
