The Surface was an easy pick. Battery life, applications and programs, and the ability to take it anywhere with me with no hassle. Great product for the college students.

What I enjoy the most about it is the performance. I installed full versions of office and those applications perform as well as on a laptop. make sure to get the 8GB and 256GB version.

There are always Pro's and Con's to everything and Surface is in that category of everything. At home and personal use they are great. For work and using an Enterprise deployment I prefer a standard laptop. Not having a built in ethernet port is a pain and having to have specific compatible components just add to the headache. Once you get past that they are a dream to use. They are so fast. Microsoft built a great product. Taking notes with the Surface pen is great. It doesn't react to your palm dragging across the screen and only detects the pen actions. I wish I could afford to have these in my personal inventory.

She loves the picture quality and speed of the laptop. It was a little pricey but were hoping Microsoft will stand by its products if there is any problems with it.
