Overall this is a really good product, I wouldn’t suggest it if you wanted a computer to play games/perform complex rendering/video editing but as an everyday user this is great for using various office products/browing the internet/emails. It’s lightweight and looks pretty sleek, with the solid state everything load very quickly which is a plus. Overall my mom loved the product but wished there were a few more USB slots. If you have a couple peripherals (mice/external harddrives for example) you may struggle to have a couple connected at the same time unless they connect through bluetooth

The new Surface Pro with i5 7300U and 8 GB RAM is a great value for performance. It works well for data crunching then on past models. I think is more than enough for most of the daily needs. For extra space, an external SSD would be the most affordable and practical solution.

Great tablet for any artist ......easy to use, light and holds a good charge. Recommend using both the keyboard/cover and purchasing the Microsoft higher-end pen.

Perfect mix of laptop and tablet. It switches seamlessly between the laptop setup and then flipping to the tablet. Ultimate in versatility and extremely lightweight!

Just love it, works great for me to edit video. Easy to use and very fast. I also got the keyboard, it was easy to setup, light weight, exactly what I expected.

This is by far the best PC I have used for work. Can detach keyboard and bring to the field with ease. Runs graphical programs with no problems

The surface pro has now become my primary work computer. The speed, screen quality and battery life are unmatched from my previous computers. I highly recommend.

I'm a slow learner & still figuring out what all this new Pro will do. I loved the original and this one seems to do a fair amount more. One big difference for me is this baby doesn't seem to get hot. I'm looking forward to getting more familiar with it as I go.

Easy to use and carry to class. Light weight and has all the Microsoft products using a download program. Keyboard on PC attached easily and works great. Love it.

I bought the Surface Pro, i5, 256g memory, along with the Microsoft Keyboard, to use for work and entertainment. I went with it because it has full fledged access to the MS Office programs, which I use quite a bit. It does the job very well. But, its no iPad Pro. I had been using my older iPad for presentations, and to muddle through some basic word processing, and it was getting slow. This is faster than that, but compared to the ipad Pro, it takes longer to start up, and is clunkier to use. I find myself checking my email and facebook on my phone, because it goes smoother and faster. The touchscreen works great, the battery life is good, and it does everything that I need it to do (so far), but its not very sexy.

I like it just wish the screen was bigger. It works great overall and is super fast.

I purchased this device and it works well. However, I have decided to do more intense things so I returned it for the I7, 256gb hard drive, 8gb ram.

I highly recommend this Surface Pro to any student who is looking for the best laptop for home, school or work. My daughter absolutely loves it. The note feature is amazing. It helps her with her math. Love it. In addition, she gets to draw anywhere.

Surface is a great Tablet, It has very good battery life and windows works great.

I'm surprised at how much I use this computer. I bought it for studying as a supplement to my much larger laptop. I bought this for portability and ease of use on an airplane. After using it for a week on a trip I found that I now use this computer more than my other computer. I now almost find that I prefer the surface more for my day to day things. Things I do miss are having a ten-key and a thumb drive port, but I find ways to work around it. I ended up purchasing a keyboard separately and found that it to be necessary addition.

The computer is fast, great and reliable. The price was well wroth it. I purchased the Intel I5 processor, 8gb of ram and 256 solid state drive.

I love this computer for many reasons. I can take it anywhere. It has an amazingly fast and doesn't slow down.
