I bought this tablet to use for IT classes that required Virtual Machines, as well as my own enjoyment, and I loved it. It ran great, battery lasted a good while, I loved its versatility and recommended it to several friends. Four months into owning it, I took the Surface out to show someone who was in the market for a new device. When I turned it on, areas of the LCD screen, when black, appeared almost green and unevenly lit. I was always very careful with the device, I didn't stack things on top of it, always had it in separate compartments, never dropped it or hit it in any fashion. I truly have no idea what caused the problem. But nonetheless, there was a physical issue and now it's all that I can see when I use it. Contacting Microsoft did no good - they informed me that they would only replace/repair it if I paid a good amount of money, or to wait until something else broke. Never thought I'd be rooting for the latter. Regardless of how fragile the device may be, nothing I put it through should have caused any damage. I've had laptops and tablets of old put through the ringer, and never did I have an issue with a display like that. It's a shame, because as silly as it sounds, the display issue paired with Microsoft's response makes me unable to enjoy it anymore, nor recommend it to anyone. TL;DR - Areas of the screen appear unevenly lit/green when dark, appears damaged yet don't know how - Microsoft unhelpful. Be very gentle if you buy one.

This is my 2nd Surface Pro. I had the original when it first came out, then recently purchased the Pro 4. It is the best between both worlds of laptop and tablet.

I love my surface pro. I use it as my work laptop and love how lightweight and portable it is. Highly recommend it.

This is my 4th Surface tablet and find it to be a worthy successor to my Surface Pro 3. Not having USB-C would have been nice but hasn't bothered me yet. I just wish that for this price, it still included the pen so I can experience one of its touted improved features.

Switching our office to a more mobile solution was easy with the Microsoft Surface Pro. Recommend the dock, bluetooth mouse, and bluetooth keyboard.

I purchased this product to help with my work. This thing boots up really fast and I love the face login option. Very sleek and having the keyboard is a must!

I have had 5 laptops and 3 pc's over the past 20 years. The surface pro has all of the power and better portability than any of them. The graphics are great.

So far I have found the Surface Pro as a great bridge while working in the field to my desktop in the office. I have been able to review, edit and take notes on various types of documents then sync it with onedrive and have the updates available anywhere I need. I am working on getting rid of my paper notebooks for meetings and switching completely to the Surface since I can easily keep everything located in one spot and not worry about misplacing meeting notes. Something that I was skeptical about was the ability to read and interpret handwriting but I am very pleased with its ability to change my chicken scratches to text with minimal editing. The battery life is something I have been keeping my eye on, I don't think that it would last a full day working solely from the Surface but I haven't had an issue yet with only using it 4-5 hours without running to the power cord.

If you are looking for something with more capability than a regular tablet this is it! Makes it easy to be organized and easy to take with me.

This has been an amazing purchase. It is small enough to throw in a bag for travel. I also purchased the keyboard and pen that add to the usage.

Surface has come a long way since the ARM version. Windows 10 is speedy and with the fanless cooling system, there's no noise to this gem. The touchscreen has improved over the years too. This is a great versatile device to suit your mobile or stationary need.

I love my new Surface Pro. I like that it is touch screen and I also can use a mouse. The picture is great. Love watching movies on it.

Great option for those that need to take there computer with them wherever they go. Would recommend docking with larger monitor for daily use.

It’s fast due to the SSD and seriously compact!! I bring it with me all the time now when before it was a chore to bring my laptop home from work.

Looked at many tablets, have always been an Apple person for past 10 years. This is so much better than IPad in terms of speed, clarity and operation.
