We bought this because we upgraded our internet speed and our old modem couldn’t reach those speeds. This Motorola is great! We had to call the internet company to have them add it and even the rep over the phone said “wow that’s a nice one!”. Works great and helps us reach our newer faster speeds! No problems so far.

got rid of my xfinity combo that was in front of my google wifi for this modem and it fixed my NAT internat dropping issues. Highly recommend and supports up to 1GBPS

Since we upgraded our speed, we had to change to a newer modem. Our older SB6121 was maxing out around 100Mb and we had just signed up for a 400Mb plan. I swapped out the modem, logged into the Xfinity app on my phone to enter the new modem's ID, and after a few minutes, everything was back online and I was hitting 460Mb on the speed tests! Some devices had to "sign in" again which basically was just clicking through an Xfinity splash page, but most tablets and smart home devices were just fine or needed a simple restart. Great speed improvement and hopefully it's as reliable as our old Motorola cable modem!

We had the Arris Surfboard and it did not perform very well....at least not for us. We exchanged it the next day for this Motorola and haven't had an issue yet...knock on wood. It cost over twice as much as the Arris, but I would still recommend it. Easy install and works well with our EERO WiFi and Cox.

It is a modem, they are usually dependable. I'm getting higher than the rated speed from my ISP so I suppose its doing a great job. I'm having a harder time with my keyboard randomly double typing letter and making me edit more than usual. But otherr than that the modem is working fine.

This modem was highly rated and priced fairly. The setup was easy and I have had no issues with it.

After trying both the Netgear and the Arris which both had problems under Comcast I decided to try the Motorola. It’s working perfectly for me.

This modem has been working perfectly for me since I installed it in August 2022. I was having lots of Internet connectivity issues and through a process of elimination, determined that my old modem was going bad. The new Motorola modem has been rock steady since installation and it handles my relatively low Internet speed (200 down, 10 up) with ease. I am very happy with the purchase and will probably stick with Motorola modems in the future.

It's hard to review a modem but so far it operates flawlessly. Setup was quick and easy and coordination with Xfinity was effortless

I wanted to upgrade my modem to try and get something with faster speeds. Cox had some connection issues, but once it was all figured out, this modem seems to provide all the bandwidth needed and works well with Cox once provisioned.

I bought this modem as my last cable modem before I switch to fiber. That was the plan. It's rated at 6 Gbps, which probably will never happen in real life with any of the US operators! American operators like Xfinity have the worst internet prices AND SPEEDS in the world. It's a fact! So after few years I finally switched to fiber and now this sits in my closet for "Just in case". I get 1Gbps fiber up/down at ATT for less than what I paid at Xfinity for cable 400 Mbps. Xfinity - the company that doesn't listen to their customers! Ever! It was a nice era! But it's done for me. If you ever need an internet Modem, don't buy anything else. Motorola makes the best devices hands down! Never had issues for 11 years with my Motorola modems. This was my second and last. I've noticed that people report issues with devices bought elsewhere, but I never had issue with any device bought from BestBuy! You need anything? Go to your local BestBuy! P.S.: I don't work for BestBuy, but I love it!!!

I wanted this modem since it DOCIS 3.1 and was future proof. Upgraded to Spectrum Ultra Internet and getting up to 483Mbps over wireless even though Ultra is rated at 400Mbps for downloads. Zero problems since I installed it.

since I have to work from home I needed something fast. I read up on DOCSIS 3.1 and what it could do for your internet speed. Well it did that and more. On top of me working from home now, I'm streaming more. This with my nighthawk router made in huge difference in my internet speed.

Solid performer. Combined with Google nest mesh easy to connect them together with basic network knowledge. My internet contract reads 300mbits with their company modem/router never reached 270 mbits, now consistently 348-350 mbits. No issues, no disconnection np drama.

Super fast setup and my speed went from around 200 down to 500 on the same 250 plan! Get more out of your coax internet with the latest DOCSIS.

The only thing that I failed to notice was there is NO PHONE connection. This makes it a tough choice with Comcast Tri Package. I now pay the same for Cable/Internet as I did for Cable/Internet/Phone and my speed went from 400 to 200 mB even though this let me hit almost 800 before they throtled me back. Make sure this does what you want..... Way better performance than the standard mocel from Comcast....
