This modem is amazing. It’s easy to set up and accepted with most cable companies. It was set up in 15 min with my cable company WOW. My old modem started failing when I noticed I was having intermittent internet issues and I live in a home with 3 persons working from home from 8:30a-8p, plus gaming online in the evening. We were all lagging and struggling with maintaining a smooth video call or playing online. This new modem resolved our issues and we are all happy.

This DOCSIS 3.1 is what you need to reach 1 Gig of speed through cable. It does as promised, I connected and called the company and it works great. I'm downloading faster than I could have imagined. I'm getting the promised speeds with this modem. Definitely a good buy.

I bought this Motorola modem to replace a Netgear unit that was so unreliable. The Motorola has been superb requiring only 2 reboots in 5 months to fix a streaming issue with my Amazon Firestick. It is a bit expensive but overall worth it not to have problems.

I purchased this modem as it's one of the top three modems available currently and the only one that was in stock when I purchased it. Setup with ISP was a breeze and I haven't had any issues with it yet.

This is a recommended item by Xfinity and since I pay for the faster speeds, the newer was worth it. Far better than renting a model as well. If you can use DOCSIS 3.1 it's an easy product to recommend.

It's not cheap but is a great modem. I got it for $50 off retail when they had a daily sale, and I could not be happier. Super fast wired and wireless connections with Comcast's fastest personal internet speed.

An excellent modem - connected to Cox (10mb download, 3mb download) no problem - speed always tests well. Works well with an Eero router and supports fairly complex Apple HomeKit setup. Online reviews regarding the speed of this product are accurate.

Replaced an older modem which was not capable of providing high speeds which I upgraded my service with Comcast so I could stream movies on more tha one device simultaneously. This modem works great on Comcast network and was easy to setup as a replacement.

I am very pleased with this purchase! Increased my internet speeds dramatically (even when I was still running with an old WiFi router). After upgrading my WiFi router I was realizing speeds above 200 (which is above what I pay my internet carrier for)

I am not sure who actually owns the Motorola name any more, as I know it has been bought and sold several times, but this modem is functioning as well as an older one that I had for many years. Some time ago, I had "upgraded" to a zoom combo modem/wireless router package. The zoom would randomly reboot...sometimes not for days, but other times 2 or 3 times in a day. After dealing with that for awhile, I decided to go back to a Motorola and Linksys setup as I had run problem free for many years. Thus far, it's been 100% stable, and way better wifi range and speed with a dedicated wireless device. It was more money to go this way, but if it lasts as long as the last Motorola/Linksys; it is a bargain to not have to deal with the problems.

Big fan of this modem. I have Comcast 1 G internet and I am able to reach those speeds with this modem. I went through several other modems from other manufactures that were unable to reach the 1 G speeds even though they were rated for it.

Solid from the moment it was turned on. Somewhat future-proof due to the additional Gig Ethernet ports under the label. Multiple ports can be used with a supporting router via Link Aggregation Control Protocol.

So glad I got this Modem, after doing much research between the Netgear 1200 and this motorola ....wow it really does make sure you are getting the speed you paid for and a little more. Have not had any problems at all. very easy to connect to your ISP.

I needed to upgrade my modem to a DOCSIS 3.1 in order to renew my Cox contract at a lower rate. This was the most affordable one I could find at my local BB. Setup over the phone with Cox, it just worked, and has been working for 9 months now. I haven't had to reset it during that time, and although it gets warm, it's not any hotter than the Arris it replaced. I do wish it was a big smaller like my old Arris. Still probably better than whatever your ISP wants to rent to you.

This cable modem is the best. Previously owned a Motorola, had no issues. Tried a Linksys between Motorola modems and had problems with the Linksys that required me to return it, TWICE! Sold on Motorola cable modems! The absolute BEST PERFORMANCE!

this is probably the best docsis 3.1 modem out there according to several tech sites. so far it’s fast and stays cool. and it is officially on the spectrum website as a supported modem for the 400 mbs plan. it is designed for the gig plans but not listed yet.
