We picked up this device to replace our old Netgear. This device was easy to set up and works as intended

It was a tough decision deciding between this modem, and the MB8611. After reading a lot of reviews, I decided that we probably won't ever need link aggregation. Nor will we have internet speeds available over the 3.8GBps that the MB8600 maxes out at, before Comcast stops supporting it, and we need to buy another one, anyway. We recently upgraded our internet to a 1200Mbps plan, with a new Asus RT-AX86U router, and this MB8600 modem. Setup wasn't quite as easy as the instructions said it would be. It probably should be that simple, but be prepared to call your ISP (possibly without internet access) to get it provisioned correctly, just in case. It took a couple of hours total, and a few tries to get this modem activated on our account. Once set up, though, we haven't had any issues with this modem. We get fast, consistent and reliable service. This is the first modem I've bought that came with a tool for loosening and tightening a coaxial cable. It's just a little thing, but a nice addition that I will definitely hang on to, and use. My fingers definitely appreciate this little tool lol. My only concern with purchasing this particular model is the age, and only because of our ISP. The MB8600 was released in 2017. I am a little worried that Comcast will stop supporting this model, well before we actually need to upgrade modems again.

Contacted my internet provider(wow) and was up and running inside of ten minutes! This unit handle 1gb and thru my Eero my newest window 10 unit get 500 md down and 50 plus up! Being 3.1 it has potential for 2gb spends in the future.

I recently updated to the modem so I could take advantage of higher internet speeds and I am glad I did the update. This modem was simple to set up, and everything connected flawlessly. I always have really good luck with Motorola products!

Future proofed myself with this. My cable isp is upgrading to 3.1 in a couple months so it will be nice to not have to change anything out for that. The modem will probably be with me a long time so I am pleased with the purchase

This is a very good modem setup with Cox was fairly easy I like the fact that the unit stays fairly cool

This item worked perfectly, but wasn’t supported for the needs of my xfinity account. I just upgraded and needed an output for the telephone service and it wasn’t compatible with it. So, I unfortunately had to return.

I finally got Comcast to correct my signal problems, and once that was done, the Motorola modem kicked in and did it’s stuff. Got my nest router hooked up, and have consistent WifI all over the house. Eazy-peazy setup.

Motorola modems are great. This replaced an older Motorola unit that was working fine for many years but I needed a faster unit. The unit connects fast and will support the fastest speeds. You wont go wrong with this model.

This was really easy to setup right out of the box. Had it up and running within 1/2 hr and most of that time was because of my service provider. Has been working great so far.

This has been a great modem that fulfills its purpose flawlessly. Set up was incredibly easy taking only a few minutes. Spectrum is my internet provider and with a quick phone call to them this modem was activated and sending a signal to my router. I purchased this due to its not having the puma chipset that alot of other modems have (chip set that causes problems with gaming). This one works great for my speeds and router, it actually picks up a bit more than I pay for in speeds

We had problems with our previous 2 modems. Finally, we got this one that worked out. So glad it worked. It’s been a month now, everything is in good condition. We love this modem. Thank you Motorola.

Solved all erratic connections I used to have, excellent for my exigent home office needs. Comcast validated Brand/model and has been working without any issue since installation a month ago. I really recommend it.

Good old Motorola. Very dependable, plug and play, solid as a rock performance.

Good product works for Xfinity at 300 gbps, make sure you have a good strong router to pair with it.

On the recommendation of my internet provider, upgraded from 3.0 to the 3.1 standard for better comms with the provider's signal. Also, planning to increase speed of my service. Replaced a previous Motorola modem so this was very easy to setup, maybe 5 minutes. (Did have to call my provider to have the modem address added to the system. About another 5 minutes) This modem is larger than my previous modem so be sure to check measurements and that you have ample space. It has been running perfectly for the first two weeks with a slight increase to my upload & download speeds. Owning saves about $10 a month in rental fees.

After trying the arris SB8200 (1 star), I ended up trying this Motorola modem and its amazing. It booted right up, reprovisioned as expected, has been working since. No drops in a few weeks, no resets needed.

I've had no problems with it. It does as it should. I don't give anything an excellent rating these days.
