I am using this MB8611 modem on Comcast 400 MB/s plan, and it performs flawlessly. User access is on ip 162.168.100.1, with technical metrics. It shows all 32 down channels connected, and 4 up channels also connected (Comcast's plan upstreem is only 10MBs), along with signal strength, corrected packages etc. Activation was through Comcast's app, i.e. you need to install that app on your smartphone/tablet in order to activate the modem on your provider's network. The modem stays cool. Mine is in open space, but it seems it can be kept in confined in-wall cable box. The power supply is a quarter of the size of the older transformer based ones, and also stays cool. Size and design are OK, it just looks like industrial non-obtrusive device. I think lights cannot be shut down through the web interface, at least I couldn't find an option. However, the modem has power on/off switch in the back, incase of need of power cycle reboot. It does have 2.5GBs LAN, which may come handy some day. But mostly I like it because it stays cool and solid.

It a very fast modem and will allowed my speeds to be upgraded in the future. On all the time and no problems since April.

Wow. I dumped my Xfinity modem for this modem and went from a average of 330mbps to 945mbps over cat5e and Cat6. WiFi speeds between 150mbps and 500mbps depending on the device. I have to Apple Airport Extremes. Super Easy to setup. Paying for gig service that I was not getting for 2 months

Full 1GB speeds without issue. 40 on the upload, but that's max for them.

So far so good with them item blazing fast on gigabit Internet from ISP. Only time will tell but I would recommend it.

Bought to update SPECTRUM access. This has been GREAT! Almost NO need for re-boots. This is the EVEREADY Bunny of modems!

Got this because my old Cisco modem was dying. Connected up and registered with Cox just fine and getting great speeds.

Purchased this unit for high speed internet capability and it does not disappoint. Very easy set up and compatible with many ISPs.

Went from a Docsis 3.0 to this Motorola Docsis 3.1. My line speed on Comcast went from 96 mbps to 185 mbps. Connected right up.

It’s a good modem but it doesn’t specify who it doesn’t work with. I have rcn and ur wasn’t compatible so it’s be careful

This modem will help future proof my internet. The setup was easy and activation with Comcast was a breeze (did it in the Xfinity app). Getting better speeds now as my old modem wasn’t allowing any speeds above 250 mbps. Now I’m getting above 400 mbps when my internet cap is only 300mbps. Very happy!

This has been perfect for us. And brings the speed with no hangups or resets like my old modem... works great.

Externally pleased with this purchase. Was having disconnection issues with my old router and this fixed the issue. Ran a few speed tests and my Comcast speed is running anywhere between 60-100Mbps. Before l was lucky if I was getting 20Mbps. Set up was easy if you know what your doing

Upgraded my internet for gig speed and needed a 3.1 modem. This one has some great reviews and I can agree with the rest of them.

Perfect Modem-Router for Gigabit plan on Xfinity, because this cable modem-router can handle fast download-upload of 1 GB speed.

So far this modem has worked great! Easy to set up and to use. With my internet plan, I have clocked 297 bps with this modem.

No hassle setup, call Spectrum, plugged in, they provisioned and it worked. No issues in the month I've used it.

Modem arrived promptly and was easily installed. Speed is somewhat improved, but I am prepared for the future. Modem is stable and has not required any adjustments since installing it.
