Very stable and fast.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My cable company wanted too much rental for their box, so I bought this one. Speed is great and I've not had any stability issues. It does not have WiFi and only one Gig-Ethernet port, but I used a separate WiFi router.

Solid modem for Spectrum
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the previous model that is DOCSIS 3.0 only and it’s advanced interface shows the levels on each channel as well as the corrected and I corrected errors. This model only shows the channels bonded for 3.0. It’s been stable and I like that you can reboot it from the admin interface. It makes it easier to manage remotely if it’s acting up. I’ve used Motorola since before they sold the SurfBoard line to Arris and found them to be the most stable and well performing cable modems. One other plus, this has a physical power button, so no more unplugging the wall wart if you want to quickly power cycle it. I’m using it on Spectrum 400/20 and I routinely test at 440/21.

Good product...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product, however, I have not gotten the results expected. I still have poor service, at times, even with the highest Comcast internet service offered.

Made my internet great again!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I realized I was not getting my advertised speeds from Comcast because my router was a decade old. Now in exceeding speeds that Comcast promises. Don’t pay a monthly rental fee when you can pay this off in 8 months of rental fees.

great for up to gig speeds
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to replace a Motorola 24x8 modem, as I upgraded my Comcast internet speed to 800/20...works just fine & had no problem doing the modem swap myself online as I have done previously, with no CSR assistance.

Big letdown unfortunately.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This worked for the first two weeks then suddenly started dropping connection. I logged into the modem to find no bad readings (there's references online for specific signal ranges to self troubleshoot). That wasn't worth the headache especially since working from home is all the rage nowadays. I went for the new Arris S33 and that hasn't let me down since. I really want to like it and I guess my expectations of a reputable brand came up pretty short. 2/10 would not recommend. I suggest you read up on other sites and forum about this specific model and similar issues. Not a warning, but a big heads-up for would be buyers.

Great mode for owners
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Delivers the connection when the ISP isn't flaky. ISPs are having major issues adjusting, but this modem is a great purchase. Upstream is changing rapidly, but this is a future-proof modem that delivers.

Works with Comcast
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked fine once Comcast got around to provisioning it properly - which only took 2 hours. Much better than paying Comcast every month for a rental.

The one I bought did not work
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was easy to setup and was automatic with Comcast, but unfortunately the one I purchased was defective; It kept dropping the internet connection. I returned and opted for a different cable modem.
