I bought this product two years ago and it has not failed me once. It is as boring and as efficient as a modem can get. I upgraded halfway through to one gigabit download and I hope that one day I’ll be able to get upload mirrored to my download. If you want gigabit modem capability this modem will deliver it is stable and constant quality of connection. I’ve actually swapped routers twice since I got this which is not a good thing for the router division but when it comes to modem reliability this Motorola has delivered on what I expected and needed for the last 2+ years. I consider this to be a very good modem. I have a 1G subscription for my internet speed and it typically tops off around 770 mbps. It doesn’t reach the 1G speed, but for a regular household, this works great!

Easy to set up, works great. I get 300 GBPS on a 250 GBPS plan. The 3.1 is much faster than the 3.0 that I had. Good deal, got it on sale at Best Buy.

Perfect for Cox internet setup and the faster speeds. We had to upgrade to receive one of their newest packages and we were able to order online for pickup and with one phone call have it activated.

I was using an ASUS CM-16 with no issues for over a year, but wanted to upgrade my modem to take advantage of additional bandwidth that became available to me. So I bought one of these fancy DOCSIS 3.1 MB8600 thingies. Just 6 weeks later my internet connection started dropping multiple times a day so I began researching things. I work from home a lot so this really sucked! Well, now I know what a T3 timeout is, I know the coaxial cables in my house are good, and I know more about splitters than I ever cared to know. My 2 brand new splitters are good and I likely didn't need to waste money on them because my existing splitters were fine. I couldn't take it anymore and I had ruled out every variable in my house that I could. Of course at this point I seem to know more than any of the Comcast tech support folks and I don't want to risk having a tech out to prove it's not a Comcast problem and bill me. They were very clear I would likely be billed for any visit. So I reinstalled the old ASUS CM-16 and all my problems vanished... In all fairness to Comcast, they were great. Even gave me a credit on my bill. It's Motorola I'm upset with. Hopefully my Geek Squad Protection Plan will get me out of this bind because I'd rather not stay on the CM-16.

Great modem we have Atlantic broadband with TiVo service and had no problem hooking it up you definitely have to call and give them the MAC address but other than that quick and simple install
