Does not stay connected to internet

My son recommended because he has same modem and also using Google Nest. However, I must have got a bad one cause this modem continued to drop the internet. I thought maybe it was a problem with my cable provider Xfinity because I had upgraded the speed at the same time, but only to 300mbps. I had Comcast work with me on it three separate occasions and even an onsite check which is money out of my pocket. Comcast found no problems on their end and they were really great to work with. I also tried 3 different routers to make sure that was not the problem, but network still kept dropping. The Comcast tech recommended the Netgear Nighthawk, so I exchanged this modem for the Netgear CM1200 and it’s working well with no drops so far. Fortunately I was within the 30 day return window and Best Buy credited my account. I would not recommend this Motorola modem as I spent countless hours trying to troubleshoot and had to pay service charge to Comcast for problem that was Motorola’s fault.
