Replaced a Docsis 3.0 with this 3.1. Has basic features and works as expected. Has a useful admin page for monitoring signal and power levels.

comcast had lots of problems activating had to return and change model disappointing

Works great. Can’t say that I’ve seen a noticeable difference yet but have not bench tested either yet. Will update when I do.

Bought this modem because Comcast kept sending me nag emails that my existing Arris modem wasn't capable of the 500 Mbps service I was paying for. First day was fine but after about a week, kept losing internet connectivity. All lights indicated everything was on and ok but traffic would not go through. Layers 3 to 7 non-functional. Resetting would allow it to work for a bit but then the issue would return. Called Comcast and went through the painful troubleshooting process with their off-shore call center and ended putting the old Arris modem back in. Haven't had a problem since. Perhaps the one I got was defective but I don't have the patience to try another. Returning to get my money back and add the nag emails from Comcast to a junk mail filter. Which, by the way, my speeds with my old modem are identical to what the defective Motorola was providing when it did work.

Seems to work better then the Comcast modem but not as fast as you would expect from the cost

i bought this for gaming purpose pc-PS5 ...so far it has work great, no disconnection, and very stable connection pair with a netgear xr500 gaming router

Worked right out of the box and have had zero issues with it over the year that we have owned it. Best part is that it should be future proofed for the next few years.

It works. My recently upgraded internet connection Just Plain Flies now. There are a few articles that mention a couple undocumented ethernet ports under one of the labels. I'll look under it after the warranty runs out. ;-)

I upgraded over the netgear cm1000 that served me well but this one seems to be more stable and seems to be better built. If it last longer than my netgear did I’ll be happy

Did my research and found this was a great modem for my needs. Works with Mediacom as I turned their modem. Paired with mesh router. Works great

Worked as expected. This let's you get Comcast cable, but doesn't open up your connection as an external Xfinity hotspot. This was ultimately overkill for my 100 mbps speed, so I returned and downgraded to the lower model (which still gets me my max speed).

On the fence because I’m not sure if this or my router is slow. Upgraded to 1gb Wi-Fi and was told I needed new equipment so I bought this and net gear router. Wi-Fi was faster with my old Apple gear. I’m thinking it’s the router.

four ethernet plug but only one would work at a time was so sad

Plug it in, power it up...nothing else needed or can be done! Works as advertised.

Made a huge difference in our streaming! No more spotty service and we haven't (fingers crossed) had any service interruptions because it works on multiple channels

Per Xfinity chat agent, this modem only supports 890 Mbps max. I’ve had internet speed issues with this modem since purchased only to just now find out it’s not compatible.

DID NOT LAST AND HAD TO RETURN, I RECOMMEND JUST GETTING IT FROM THE SERVICER YOU USE A MODEM FROM THEM.

Internet provider said to upgrade from a DOCSIS 3.0 to a DOCSIS 3.1 MODEM; so I complied. Easy to connect, but now we're experiencing signal loss multiple times a day. The promise of faster Internet service has now become "if we'll have any Internet!" Well that tanks the Netflix account!

Nice upgrade over Cox wireless ac modem plus I save a few dollars on modem rent.

Booted quickly and worked well by itself, but Spectrum issues prevented it from connecting to any router. Ended up with Spectrum modem and router.
